GT1 - INFINITE TIME PRESS SELECT

Hello everyone,
I am trying to make sure that this code:

INFINITE TIME (SELECT)
D00BC016 0001
80093BC8 0000

I would like it to works when I press select and stop when I press it again.
For now it only works if I leave my finger on it ...
I still have trouble understanding how AR codes work.
