I have tried several times to have a Front-wheel drive car to break into the 9s in the quarter-mile, but with no success.
I have a CRX with 2000hp+ that does 10.3s
I have a New-gen. Celica with 1000hp+ that does 10.5s

Am I using to much horspower?
What gear box would be best (ie. 4, 5, 6, 7-speed)?
I am also using Escudo tires, but they're still roasting:rolleyes:
I have done about everything I can think.:(

To all the experts out there (you know how you are), I need your advice or possibly your own codes for your FWD Dragsters that I could look at.

laterz:banghead:

First off make sure you have a good chasis for dragging preferably one that is already front wheel drive. Second use the f1 tires they stick better. Peace.

try and put softer compound tires on the drive wheels and harder compound tires on the tandem and see if that works. also try using a 6 speed trans. get the weight down to about 1500lbs add more hp if all the other ideas dont work. try some of the codes I used on my Intrepid ES drag car
6 SECOND GUIDED MISSLE

4,495 hp
1505 lbs.
