GT2 Hi speed challenge ROUND 1

Welcome to the Gt2 Hi Speed challenge! Although the race starts today, the sign up period is until the end of round 1. Our 5 race marathon begins in rome with Rome Short as the first race of the series.
Rules: All rules posted are in the sign up thread.
Points: Points are as follows
1st: 20pts
2nd: 16pts
3rd: 12pts
all other positions and points are in signup thread.
RACES: Race 1:ROME SHORT
all times due 12:00 midnight in your time zone on June 9th
Race 2:HIGH SPEED RING
all times due same time on June 16th
Race 3:TEST COURSE
times due June 23rd
Race 4:SUPER SPEEDWAY
same time, June 30th
Race 5:HIGH SPEED RING II
same time as in first race, July 5th
Have fun and all other rules are in the signup thread. Post your times here, so that the other racers here have a chance to see them.
 
alright girlies, lets go. Im gonna have to turn in my times tomorow already!!! Ill be on vacation for about a month so i hope its okay if i turn them all in at once, tomorow. Ill probably get whooped but hey its my first race! Good luck to the other four, and please have someone tell me if its "illegal" to hand them ALL in tomorow. Well thanks, peace out.

That's ok with me but just as long as you send your times in or i'm gonna have to cancel you out of the series, and I don't wanna do it but I may have to. Just send in your times in by tomorrow and you'll be fine.
 
Okay, if i screw up giving these times im sorry, im new to the whole deal, and you said it was okay if we didnt have screen shots, but i promise these are honest, and they wont exactly be hard to believe cause im slow. If i submitted the times wrong just tell me and its okay if im taken out of the series.... These are for the first four tracks, as i will be away until the day the last race is due.....

Car: Toyota GT-One Race Car(yeah, i changed)
Rome Short: 44.33@176.16 mph
High Speed Ring 1: 52.161@196.16 mph
Test Course: 50.585@238.22
Super Speedway: 30.243@211.34

Yeah... Im slow but its a start, plus itll all give you guys self-confidence when you beat me:P Haha, good luck to you all.

My horsepower's probably a bit low compared to you guys'. Oh well. I'm gonna have fun!
 
Car TVR Speed 12 [R]

6.308 9.170 12.973 10.685

39.136 @ 201.38mph

This was also my top speed on any lap.
 
I ran rome short in the TVR Cerbera LM. (changed from the [R] R390-gt1) was very squirrelly but I ran 41.872 @ 177.9mph
I may have to have a run in something with a bit more HP as Fogelhund has beaten me by two seconds with my 150 HP deficit.
 
my sheet of paper is at home. i'll have to get to it when i get home later. ;) I think you're a bit quicker than me though Brett. I'm driving the '98 GT-ONE Race car.

i must get the '99 GT-ONE from "S" license.
 
99' GT ONE really isn't much quicker than the 98'.. although it is a bit less stable. This is actually the first time I've used the big TVR in a race situation. Quite the beast to handle, but still some fun.

It'll be interesting to see how it compares to some of the other fast cars, Super Speedway will be a gift to the TVR, but the High Speed Ring runs will be a struggle.
 
The deadline was just over 7 1/2 hours ago. RACE 1 IS NOW OVER! Sorry if I didn't get around to it this morning.
