Ok, before I catch a beating for "reposting" a question or for not searching the forum first, know that I did. I went through every possible topic and found all of the links expired so.........on to the big question

I DESPERATELY need some sort of master list for parts codes for GT2 (NOT GT3). I know that SOMEONE has one lying around somewhere. My PS2 is on the fritz and I'm stuck with GT2 so PLEASE....if you can help let me know. Heck, I'd be thrilled for just a list of tires and suspension (I have all the engine codes). Thanks for your help and for tolerating yet another question about a game that ya'll seem to be over and done with :odd: lol

Thanks to ALL of you for all of the other information that you've provided. By far the best forum for GT I've seen in years!

Oops....guess I should also mention that I'm using GS V3.3 and GT2 Greatest Hits/V1.2 (though I have the basecodes thanks to ya'll so I doubt that matters). Thanks

Thanks mate....helps a ton! That's EXACTLY what I was looking for. Unfortunately I've never updated my Works or EXCEL software so the files are impossible to view on my current software (I know, not your problem ;) ) I still greatly appreciate the reply. Now all I have to do is find someone to "Borrow" a new MS Office disc ;) Thanks again.....at least I know that lists are out there.

Although, if someone had the time and the incredibly kind spirit to use their Works or Excel to convert the files to either Works/Excel V5.0 or V4.0 (I know, stone age software  ) that would be more than spectacular and I would owe an enormous amount of favors to....at least I planted the seed ;)

Thanks a million and I hope this forum stays up for ever. It's a neverending pit of GT knowledge.

:banghead:

Heck, I would be ecstatic if someone would even just hit "select all" on the darn thing and paste it in .txt or .doc format. I mean, I would not mind doing the formatting and deceiphering one bit. Worth a shot, right? lol

I appreciate your suggestion, but as I stated, I'm stuck with GT2 until I get another PS2 so I seem to be stuck with very little info.

Heydu....You are a GOD!!! Thanks a million man. You have no idea how much I appreciate your help (as well as the rest of you that lended a helping hand). As if a busted PS2 wasn't bad enough I thought I'd have to spend months getting all the codes for GT2 again. Thanks SOOOO much! Great bunch of people here!
:D

No Prob, glad I could help. Yeah I was helpin a friend of mine a while back with some GT2 hybrids. It was kinda fun goin back and messin with that game again.

BTW, there are some links to some relly good GT2 code sites in

THIS THREAD

Yeah, thanks again for the help. As for the links, I assure you I have amassed an enormous wealth of knowlege from Coldfire, Fiery, James, Kab, Rog, Skynyrd, and Tango.....those were actually the sites that helped me discover GT hybriding period. Thanks to you to for your informative posts throughout this forum. Your name is that of legendary status (well, at least you know what you're talking about! ) I'll shut my pie hole now! Thanks man! ;)

Yeah, GT2 hybrid-ing is a lot simpler; no downloading, no messy coding. Engine swaps take 30 seconds of your time, for example.

I read Heydu's Master List last year, and it's been tons of help.

theres a gt2 for the ps2? never knew that, currently i have know idea what the hybriding codes are for gt2. My first real lick at hybriding was when i came here, and Nathan showed me how to get the diablo...

First off.....I can definitely tell you how to get codes for PS2 hybriding. There is a link in one of the posts above that is an Excel file that lists all the parts codes for all the parts. If you have any other questions feel free to let me know. I'll send you some lists I've made up of "good" parts, "compatible" parts, tuning and combinations.

As for the last reply....you obviously read the post wrong. No one ever said anything about GT2 for PS2.....and, no, there is obviously no such thing.......aside from the fact that you can play the original GT2 on the PS2.....You just can't hybrid cars using the gameshark like you normally would.
