gt2 vs gt3

Hey guys, just did a search and realized how horrible the responses to most of the threads involving gt2 were, so decided to ask some quick questions.

Well, some background. I drift on epsxe, emulating gt2 on my computer and have one drift video up https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=55187
over the last 6 months or so, i feel that i've learned to drift reasonably well, and will have a newer video up soon to show some better drifting. You guys can be the judge of that yourself.
Anyways i'd like to drift in gt3, but i can't buy a ps2 so consequently, the only opportunities i have are at friends' houses. However, it feels so horrible when i do try gt3. I can't feel the car, can't control the line, the angle, etc.
Would anyone mind breaking out a gt2 disk and comparing the physics and things for me? Personally i feel that gt2 is more stable for shorter drifts etc, but we can't hold long smooth drifts. Conversly, gt3 is much more responsive and twitchy, making the shorter drifts harder to keep smooth but allowing for longer drifts. This is just my opinion, feedback would be appreciated, even if it is to tell me i'm full of bull poo poo.

your full of bull poo poo!!! jk

I for one can't find my GT2 disk or memory card containing data. XD GT3 physics are more realistic, it just takes some time to adjust but its not like having to start over again, just adjust. I started off drifting with GT2 and I'm semi-decent in gt3.. *shrugs* IMO get a PStwo and a DFPro then get GT4 >8D

there is a massive learning curve from gt2 to gt3, you can't compare them. i also didn't like driving in gt3 at friends places, until i had time to sit down and play it in my own time when i got my own ps2

i have expse and a gt1 and 2 iso on my hard drive, but i can promise you that once you make the move to gt3, playing gt2 will seem very crappy from a physics and track design point of view

i dunno what it is about gt2, either the cars are huge or the track is smaller, but you have SO much more room in gt3

from playing gt4p, it's going to get even harder, so time to save up for a ps2 :)
