Gt3 A I, Not Bad.....

i keep reading and hearing about the bad ai in gt3, well i don't think it is that bad......have you played project gotham:dunce:? now that has bad ai!!!

i was racing at grand valley against JGTC cars and kept noticing that when it showed me the time difference between myself and the following car that it kept changing cars....so when i finaly won the race i decided to watch the replay, not of myself but of the ai cars, what a race.....i tell ya they kept overtaking each other, outbraking each other and slipping out of the slip stream, so come on guys it's not that bad, yeh they tend to bash your rear end some times but hey it's nearly there. bring on gt4. :gt:
 
That is why you should be a better driver than the ai cars. ;)
I dont think they are that bad as long as you stay ahead.

I do think the AI drivers are better in low powered cars, but when you talk about race cars they suck. Also the F1 AI drivers are very good.
 
The AI is GT3 is dreadful - the TOCA series had this sorted out in 1997, why can't Polyphony get this aspect of the game right? I think it's actually worse in GT3 than it was in GT1 and 2 - I remember having some great battles in the little cars in arcade mode in GT1.
 
The thing I don't like about the AI is say your on the straight with a car behind you , it's pretty far back....

Then slam your brakes on , does it move out to overtake as in real racing?:gcar: no it whacks into your rear? :bomb:
 
Nah that's not a stupid question, perfectly reasonable, (I didn't know either for a while :viper:Freak

All it is is Artificial Intelligence :smilewink, which is just the way your competitors in the Game :cd: drive and react....

Did I get that right? :D
