GT3: Best Japanese car with the 50/100 rules

Well scince veryone is doing something with the number 50,000 i thought i would. I kinda copied the other thread but kinda didn't.

Rules:
50 on car
100 on mods
only Japanese cars


This really openes compition, to buy either the big turbo/tune-up for 75,000 or to spend it here and there.

PLZ help me out here and post your 400m, top speed, and time at midfield (using run and settings)

p.s. dont buy a lower priced car and add the rest over from 50 and add to the 100 for mods. But u can buy a lsightly over 50 car and take away from mods. Kinda weird rules, but i like em

Haven't got to it yet, but 100,000 for mods will allow for full race suspension and stage 3 turbo and decent tires.

Okay, Tested a few rides, got some suprizes.
First off, I sacrificed the Bigger turbo for better tires. Each car tested got T6 Tires. Stage 2 turbo, and full racing tranny.
I also only got 1/4 mile times and Midfield times. I tested:
RX-7 (RS) : 11.511 sec 1/4 mile and 1:11.573 lap
Subie 22B: 11.696 and 1:15.987
R34 V-Spec II: 11.391 ahd 1:14.531
MR-2 GT-S 11.751 and 1:14.765
My standard practice is to run ten laps and take my best one, unless , my times are still dropping. Then I run until I have two laps in a row "in the red". I also try to run with at least two wheels on the blacktop. (a "time-trial" run, if you will)
As you can see the RX-7 was the fastest track car. However, The whole time it felt a little bit out of control. I was right on the edge of of losing it much of the time. I might have been quicker if I slowed down a bit.
The Subaru and the Skyline were very fast, and felt EXTREMELY stable. I gave up 2.8 seconds a lap to the RX-7, However, both the AWD platforms were easier to drive.
The MR-2 continues to surprise. It is twitchy at times but I tuned much of that out thru suspension tweeks. Mister 2 was a lot of fun.
I imagine there will be some faster in this challenge with bigger turbos and cheaper tires. But, IMHO the tires are more important. A little lesson was learned at Seattle with Sport tires vs. Racing Soft tires (T7) on a very "lively" Mustang. The Racing tires won by six seconds.
