First off thanks silviaparts.com (don't think I cought your name), for hosting it.

The vid is kinda sketchy at times cuz I was using some new capturing utilities so I didn't know how to use it, and it kept resetting from 640x480 to 320xsomething. Plus I was doing a bunch of other stuff so if there are a couple pauses bear with it. Surprisingly enogh some of the pauses line up with the music :thumbsup .

Anyways my drifting is kinda bad in some parts too, its been a while and my dual shock 2 broke, so no precision. So I kinda just started messing around with Vegas Video 4.0 and playing with some of thier new features.

Oh BTW for those who want to know what settings are on it. I just took the RX8 bought everything. Dropped it, put one of the LSD settings to max, and the rest to minimum, its between the second and third setting (I think I drifted in both), and I also got the middle racing tires, and in some drifts kept normal tires in the rear for a little easier traction braking. And turn off TCS and ASM.

As you can see no real modding, thats just a quick setup that'll assist in getting sideways
 
not too bad drifts,

but try sims so u wont stop drifting on a turn,

nice video editing wish i had that when I used faint as my music

i just don't like using sims, I like the ability of being able to use both grip and drift, of course it takes a lot more work to break the rear loose.
 
Hey, does your video editing prog Automaticly sync it self with the muisc, i know u said the pauses did..but the whole song seemed to be synced with your video or vice versa.

Nice vid;)

The rest I did myself, when I make my videos I center more on trying to get it to go with the music, just makes it overall better. I guess its just a hobby. But of course a few things always happen by mistake.

darkdrifterz45 - ya I originally meant it for a d1gp driver search, you know the whole one shot to make it thing, but then working with the tape got really frustratting, so I just used it for a gt3 vid.

pddrifter - Well there are 6 total, the first two suck, I cheated and used rally, this is before I was any good at drifting in the game. Then the next 4 were pretty good. You can find some at fileplanet. The server I had them on kept getting his bandwith wasted cuz he was hosting both my vids and his, and they ranged in the 30 mb range each.

When GT4 comes around I will be using my friend at silviaparts.coms server, he has a lot of unused bandwith, I'll put it to good use :D.

wana b drifter: Whats wrong with the RX8? Sure its no FD or FC, but its a nice car. Plus have drifted most of my other cars (FD, FC, Supra, r32 gts, r33 road car, mr2, s14, 180sx, silvia s13, and a few more). I just decided to use the rx8 cuz I had just seen one, and I had never driven it in the game.

hey can you tell me what kind of Video Editing program is that, because thats tight how you do it, so tell me ok, and thats some awesome drift skills, hey i use Super Soft drifting too!!!!!!!!!!
 
i liked the music, good drifts for the car, i would say normals all the time, i dunno how much hp u can make w/ the 8 but 400 should be plenty. - great vid though

*edit*
after testing of the RX-8, i found that the engine is def, blind, and retarted- u can't let the revs drop below 8,000. The car its self is very nimble - i'm going to drop in a 13B from the FD later on today to see if the engine can make it a better car.
 
I used Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 4.0.

Only reason I used that song is cuz I wanted something short so I could test out Vegas Video 4.0, didn't feel like getting a lot of footage, cuz these courses are starting to get old.

This was more of a test my editing skills than test my drifting skills.
