I bought GT3 with a PS2 the other day and it is great, I mean the graphics are the best I've ever seen and the game is as well the same as the others, very fun and playable.
I just wish that the makers had put more cars on the game, I know that the cars are rumoured to have taken two weeks to model but we all would have surely appreciated the game a lot more even if it meant waiting another six months.
Another issue is the menu systems. they are apparently easy to use at first but after a while I start accidently selecting the wrong thing because that is what is automatically selected. i.e. preview instead of enter. This gets very frustrating as previews take a while to load and exit.
Hardly problems really just thought I'd point them out and hope somone important reads this message.
Overall this is easily the best game in existence, I just hope it wasn't to keep us occupied while GT4 is developed.
:)

Well, I can't speak for everyone else, but I would rather have the game now than waiting 6 months for a few new cars.

My point xactly Jordan, a few new cars and racing modifications. It was all a time issue, the creator couldnt put racing mods in since he had a dealine to meet but if he had a little more time who knows what would have been in GT3.

Instant gratification is what it's all about. It's why the majority of the world pays retail for the same thing they can get for 30% less mail order. (me too, me too)
I don't really think that the not enough cars argument is valid. Come up with another game that has this many cars, excluding GT 1 and 2.
NFS games had six, and they sold millions of copies, and we all loved it. When the next version comes out and it has 10 cars we'll still eat it up.
You my friend are a glass is half empty person. :D

I am on the fence on this one. I bought my PS2 in october when it came out and waited 9 months with my unopened PS2 under my bed. I am glad I got it when I did.

My problem is not the number of cars in the game, but rather the variety of cars. In GT2, you could have fun racing a honda civic, because there was about 60 cars that could race against you competitively. In GT3, there is about 10.

I understand that sacrifices need to be made, I just think that they should have had more tightly grouped classes. The game separates the cars into 4 classes. A, B, C, R, and S. I would be fine if the C class (slowest) ars were excluded.

Who really likes driving these cars

Mini Cooper 1.3i
Chrysler PT Cruiser
Lupo Cup Car
New Beetle 2.0
Vitz RS 1.5
Vitz Euro Edition
Alto Works Suzuki Sports Limited
Demio GL-X
Mira TR XX Avanzato R
Storia X4
156 2.5 V6 24V
Sprinter Trueno GT Apex
Coupe Turbo Plus
240SX K's Aero
Silvia K's 1800cc
MR2 GT-S
Celica SS-II
Celica SS-II (new)

I think the game could have gotten away with fewer POS cars, and instead put in some really cool cars. Just because Vector dosent make cars anymore, dosent mean the cars dont exist! Same with Venturi, and others. I would have sacrificed the demio for an Audi R8.

I love driving the Fiat Turbo Coupe Plus after you change the suspension and stabliziers and what have you it handles like a dream and it is fast.
