RULES

1. NO CHEATING of any sort!!!
2. NO GRASS CUTTING
3. NO WALLBANGING/WALLRIDING

Try and stay on the track not everyone is 100% perfect

Sharkport/X-port replays are a prefered way of submitting times, I know that not everyone has one of these so for the series you will provide a RTI (Random Tech Inspection) of your race.

Mentioned above but SAVE ALL REPLAYS you will need them.



RACES and QUALIFYING

All races will be in the Arcade mode, using either garage cars with specified hp and mods, and the S-garge cars.
Qualifying will be done in Arcade mode Free Run or Sim Mode Run and Setting with either the arcade cars (Free Run) or your garage cars (Free Run or Run and Setting). If you do not have Sharkport/X-port the RTI of Qualifying will be you posting/pm'ing me your settings, logger data, average speed for each section and your split times. For each race you will have 2 weeks to get your fastest 3 lap race time done.

Let's have fun doing this comp while providing vigorious competition amongst the members here at this site.

SCHEDULE of RACES

Race1
Location: Deepforest Raceway
Date:May 31st-June 14th
Car Used: Ruf RGT A-garage, ASM/TCS your choice

Qual Times due June 7th.
Race Time due June 14th

Qual time are to be done in Arcade Mode, Free Run on DeepForest I
Race will be Arcade Mode-Normal(Novice I do believe) (3 laps) Deep Forest I

Lets get this show on the road.

Mr P will accept all the PAL X-port peoples replays for verification, and I will accept all the NTSC peoples replays for verification.
 
Sorry to all those that didnt get PM's regarding the time to start this event, too time consuming.
 
I don't have either, but I do have a digital camera - will this be acceptable? (bear in mind I do run the Logitech handicap). I will be saving replays so I can take a series of shots during the replays.
 
Thats fine vat_man I forgot to make the rule change about the replay devices, I'll do that after work 2morrow.

Zero,

Has the way we were to submit times to you changed? Are we now required to use a shark port or some other device to send in our times? I was under the impression that we could submit our times based on the honor system and by following your rules outlined in the RTI requirements. I dont own a shark port or any other device wich enables me to transmit my times to you. If this IS the case and I do need such a device I might have to retire from the race series as I am unsure that I will be able to acquire such a device before the first time due date. (it's a 110 mile journey to the nearest place that would sell a shark port.)
Let me know as soon as you possibly can because if this is the case I will try to get myself a shark port so I can participate in this event, I will just need to schedule myself some time to make the journey.

No you are not required, the honor system is just fine.

The updated rule is that if u dont have a sharkport for qualifying you must give myself the following: 1. All sectors for your lap. 2. Whether you used ASM or TCS. 3. All datalogger sectors from the analyser.

For the race: 1. All sectors of the laps in your race. 2. Whether you used ASM or TCS.

Replays are appricated but no mandatory. All PAL users send their replays to Mr P all NTSC users send it to me.

For the Race the top 3 people must submit RTIs, for qual everyone has to. If you are not in the top 3 in the race you can submit RTIs if you which but they are not mandatory.

Would the logger and regular replay times match up?
 
If you watch the regular replay the timer stops a little early and the logger data goes with that early time, the replay (viewing the replay) is faster than the actual time.

Clarification:

If you decide to do Qual in Run and Setting for any of the rounds, use the base hp only, unless I tell u there are mods to be done to the cars.
 
ermmmmm y r we just going to sector 2 and not the full lap ?

whats the point in that ?

i mean ive just been on it all day photographing my full lap times for qualifying....

if ive miss understood please comense kicking my ass...
 
Well Axis maN, it wouldnt be fair to post full laps becuz then it would bring about cheating, S2 times are perfect to be given out because we can easily identify fakers from real players when their S2 times are no where close to their lap times.

I did about 10 laps late last night at about 3 am and came in around 56.0 at T2 at my best. Not quite the best times but I'll work on qual some more later today... while it's still light out ;)

Yeah, how cool would it be if we had some kickin arse of a person smilies! People would just missuse it though, oh well.
 
well it didnt say anywhere that we had to give in section 2 times ! im not a mind reader !

i did 30 laps today and took a picture of my fastest lap time now i gotta start again !!

so how do u win the qualifying ?

is it best section 2 time ?
 
No qualifying is won by having the fastest lap overall.

section 2 time is just for comparison purposes, so people can see where they are in relation to everyone else.
 
IMPORTANT

Due to my annual visit to my grandmothers in Illinois I cannot accept replays nor times for this race, please send all replays, pics, RTI info and times to Talentless.

I am leaving this saturday at 10am, sorry for the inconvience. I will be back on the 15th.
 
Um, I may not be able to do this either. Sharkport is not reliable.

Does the opposite of what JB says, works 1 out of every trillion tries.

after 23 laps my S2 time was 55.316
Won't be able to race it again untill saturday, so this will be my qualify time:)
 
After 5 or so laps I got a 56.8 on S2

What time EST should I get my replay in by as I'm going to sleep now and will have to do more tomorrow?
