GT3 is great, should I buy GT2

I have been playing GT3 since is release and think it is one of the most addictive game I have ever played. Never played GT2 or GT1, should I purchase them. Graphics is important to me but gameplay is the number 1 factor.

Advice? GT2 is selling for only $20.

No. If you hadn't played GT3, then I'd say yes. But you have already had the best. GT2 was great. It was the greatest racing game for the PS in my opinion. I had fun playing it up until July of last year when GT3 came out. Sure it has tons of cars, but the gameplay does not compare, nor do the graphics, to GT3.
 
yep it worth buying,i still play my gt2 to this day....

and if you are worried about the graphics...
youll wont even notice then after an hour into the game or so...

plus how can you beat 500 cars???????
 
I completed GT3 2 days ago, and bought GT2 yesterday. After 15 minutes, you don't bother the graphics anymore. I can recommend it, it is still a fun game.
 
I have all 3 of them and they all rule (especially when they were brand new:))
Finishing GT2 is easier than finishing GT3 though, it is easier to make money in GT2 and you have more cars so it has the potential of being a lot of fun. In GT2 you can score 290,000 credits for a three lap race ...
I must have played GT2 for about a whole year and never got bored of it ... then came the ps2 with GT3 and i have been playing that since then.

gt2 is worth getting. if you like gt3 then you will like gt2. its so much fun, cause its easier and u get more money and you have a lot of cars that arent in gt3.
 
yea havin got all 3 i would have to say gt2 comes quite close to GT3 mainly because of all the cars in gt2 but the graphics and pretty sun sets in gt3 beat it to the line :D
 
I own GT1, GT2, and of course, GT3... I still play all 3 of them. The weird thing is , GT1 has better graphics than GT2! I guess they had to sacrafice graphics to add in all the features. Definitely worth buying!
 
:gcar: Forget the graphics, gameplay, lame AI, and glitches. Because you can only buy V1.2 of GT2. And you can also get 100%, you could only get 98.2% on the other versions. :cheeburga :yugo:
 
Go for it! The gameplay on GT2 is by far the best and they aren't the worst graphics in the world. I like the "Race Car Modification" that you can do on almost any of yer cars, its a top game so buy it.

:D Yeah, definately buy it. Its a great game, has loads of tracks that GT3 hasn't got, and tons more cars. Its easier than GT3 in my opinion, but still well worth it. Graphics aren't bad either, especially if you play it on your PS2, not up to GT3 standards, but then what is?
 
GT2 is awsome and then some. Yeah the graphics aren't that great. But the gameplay rocks. I have all three. The cars are hardest to control in GT1 but the graphics are better than GT2. IN GT2 If you muck up your cars handling fooling with the settings you can set them back to stock with one little push of the "select" button. Plus there's 500 cars and most of them are cool.
As far as a gaming purchase. It will be twenty bucks well spent.:D
