Hi, Sonic. What's commonly referred to as "online racing" or OLR in GT3 society is really just a lap time/race results comparison. People will take a particular challenge, then submit times for the results. Sometimes saved replays are also sent in as backup.

It's actually fun and can teach you a lot about driving. Check out the GTP Weekly Series hosted by Boombexus in the On Line Racing forum.

Thanks a lot guys. Only reason I ask is because my friend has Xbox and he found a way to play Halo online against others when the game doesnt support that type of gameplay.

What puzzles me is that if they (hackers) found a way to let you play non-online games such as TS2, Halo, etc, online, why didn't they tried to hack GT3? Well maybe they were scared to get sued by Sony.

"they" didn't hack it, the Xbox uses an ethernet cable for a type or link games (not online) like a LAN game so one just has to hook it up a certain way and use gamespy servers and one can play on line w/ those linked games such as Halo. this is just what i remember from when it 1st started a long time ago so it may be a little dif, but just do a search on google fo more info.
