I recently got my Fanatec GT3 RS V1 wheel in. Guess I didn't do my research, and long story short it isn't "compatible" with GT5. I remember seeing the V2 upgrade kit on the Fanatec site, but it is no longer available. So my question for you guys is, does anyone have a spare upgrade kit for sale? Kind of a long shot but I figure I ask the community.

Contact fanatec. They might have some left even though they are not listed anymore.

There are some upgrade kits in stock here: www.simparts.co.nz ...but only in New Zealand :(

Other question: does anyone tries to play GT Academy '12 with the v1? I tried it once and it works very well. But now it doesn't and i don't know the steps i do to get it into work xD Can anyone help?

issue fixed by myself :p same problem here as in GT:P. Simply set back the system date of your PS3... set year to 2007 whould be enough ;)

I ordered the kit from the several weeks ago, very fast shipping. They made the whole process super easy.

On another note, can someone take a pic of the inside of a V2? I followed the tutorial up to the point where I forgot to label the wiring. :banghead:. I need to know which wire plugs into what.

how do you order this? i thought you can anly register there as New Zealanders oder Australian...

this might be a good instruction: http://www.911wheel.de/files/faq_pics/Tutorial_GT3RS_V1_To_V2.pdf i can't say because i haven't that upgrade kit :guilty:

I emailed them directly and asked if they ship to the US. Brendon from simparts was very polite and very quick with the shipping.

I was using that tutorial, but like I said earlier I didn't label the wiring just like the tutorial instructed me to. So as of right now, I have my wiring done incorrectly.

Oh man thats sick...especially there's the same color on each wire. If it's not too late i can shot some pics of the wiring before the uprade with localisation of where the cables come from ;)

btw: Upgrade Kit is on its way :D

here a picture with description of wiring...hopefully it's still needed :sly:
