My second time through the game I'm using the wheel exclusively. I'm getting through the Time Trials now and remember what it was like the first time. On TT6 I was within 0.2 seconds on multiple attempts when I finally beat it by over a full 1 second.

The stress I was building up while trying to beat this Time Trial and others is driving me nuts! But I also use the game to cool down after a long day of work.

How about you guys? Is GT3 more of a stress relief tool or does it enduce more stress than you would have had prior to playing?

personally i get very pissed off usually when i do things. like im trying to get all golds on the license tests on one im .004 off. i havent been able to come close to that in awhile and it makes me so pissed. on the other hand when i do something good i get really excited. but overall the stress induced is greater then the relief it brings me.

I find it to be a time waster/sleep inducer. You know aside from being my job and all. lol

I find it a relief. It has made me stressed sometimes, but not to the extent where I would throw or break a controller. I don't get very mad when I don't do good in video games. If I do get mad, I just quit playing. It takes a lot to make me angry, though.

Sony need to make a steel controller that can't break, cause im tired of wasting my cash everytime I break one.

No, Sony like your cash better.

I've broken one. It's not that broke, I let my kids use that one. :D

I have been across the spectrum for what happens when I play GT3. I have broken controllers and beaten games. So I'm on both for this one.

or take an anger management class :p

I've destroyed many controllers, in fact, I think my count now is well over 8. Granted three were total dissections assited by blunt trauma. the other 5 were just being worn out. (Hint: Madcatz controllers are crap)

If I am racing, it's an inducer. If I'm stressed out, I'll take the RUF RGT out on Normal tires and run a PD Cup race in it. In that case, it's a relaxer.

AO

pd cup to relax? well there you go...

all my controllers i have are broken in some way :). i cant use the joysticks on 2 and none of them are capable of the rumble effect anymore, but i can still use the pad and x button so i dont need another one.

I enjoy the partaking of sweets that usually contain copious quantities of sugar.

GT 3 has brought me great joy and great stress, more joy than stress, but still. I kinda like it when I'm racing under pressure.

i find it relaxing

They need stronger X buttons...my second controller in which I've hardly used with GT3 because I'd already 100%ed it with the other controller (X button screwed over) and this new one's X button is really worn. Damn thing.

Anyway, both.

It kind of depends on what you do in GT3. Testing stock cars in Complex String= stress relief. Racing an underpowered car against faster AI cars, trying to keep up= stress inducer. Candy is good
