GT3 suggestions

i just wanted 2 here any bodies suggestions for cars they thought that should have been put in gt3?




I would have liked 2 see firebirds, more rally cars, ferraris and more race cars.

First off they couldnt get licsenceing from Ferrari, and they are lots of rally cars to choose from and firebirds suck.

The Audi TT LM would have been a nice addition to the game.

Ill bet your one of those ppl that think little turbo Japanese cars are the best.
Firebirds are classic musclecars. Look at the 1960/1970 firebirds, they are friggin awsome. Huge V8's that dont need pussywhiped turbos or nitros(me thinks they are lame). Nothing like brute V8 force.
Shure, a supra may be faster than a firebird, but what has more attitude?

Ever seen "the fast and the furiouse"? They had a kickass musclecar(charger) that i would take over any other car.


What kind of car do you drive?
bet u its nothing that comes close to the class/attitude of a firebird.

For the older members of the forum, remember the movie Smokey and the Bandit. That was sweet in its time and still is. A trans-am with a 455 under the hood with a factory hood scoop with the BIRD on it and t-tops. Nothing can compare with that, nothing.

I don't like to drive any car in GT3 that I wouldn't want to own IRL. And I'm sorry, guys, but the Trans-am and all the other old muscle cars are for flat-landers only. Take it on the slalom course I call a highway in weather bad enough that the plows don't even wanna come out, and I think I could take it in my li'l green wagon. 'Course the same goes for the boy-toys with their big wings and small "things"

What I like is a car that can handle it all; that includes the turns and hills. It just so happens that most European cars are designed for the real-world; stiff suspension, good agility, and enough passing power and outright speed to keep it interesting. Audi has some interesting cars, as does BMW. Both of them were under-represented in GT3.

And, of course, they still need more GM cars; the Camaros and 'vettes are not the only good GMs ever made.

In Real Life and in my humble opinion:
It's all about driving skills right? I used to run a FR car all winter long. Very fun, very very fun. Took some skills to take some of the roads that 4x4's were hesitant to drive on, but with proper skills and know your cars limitations and abilities, you'd be surprised what can be done.

As far as european cars......? After my FR moved on I started driving a VW Rabbit Diesel, FF. This was by far the best winter driving vehicle I have ever driven. I would take that out any day over my 4x4. Low to the ground, and it stuck to the snow and packed ice like glue. Absolutely amazing (when it started that is).

My point is, with the right driver behind the wheel, cars in the same classification, are all competitive.

The bandit didnt have the bird. It was jet black. It was BAD ASS.

As for the "Big wings and little things" arguement, I find it hysterical. Normally I would agree, but a very few talented rice-boyz have achieved some absolutely amazing results with those little things. Honda CRXs running 8 second quarter miles, V6s pushing out in excess of 1000hp, and need I bring up the WRC races?

Id still rather drive a Big honkin Boss 600 than a riced out weedwhacker, no matter how fast it was.

The old firebirds were nice, but this is now. There are cars today that will spank the crap out of them and with 4 cylinders.
I like the old school too, but again this is today.
Nothing like a new muscle car era that we live in today.

I would agree that some japanese cars are fast, but in a quarter mile, a muscle car such as a '70 Nova (gotta love 'em) or a good Challenger with an enormous HEMI in it would kill any stock import.

You guys know your history alright, but that fact of the matter is back in the 70's there was not a 4 banger peice of crap that could hold a candle to a Trans Am. As for todays technology for the same dollars, a 4 banger can't keep up with a 15 year old Stock Trans Am.

I take the same Trans Am stock agains any rice burning stock junk you see on the road today under $35,000!!!

All I hear on these post are how do I get the Viper Car!! Pure Muscle boys pure muscle!!
