Here's a teaser vid now that I've got my capture card all setup and working. Fairly highly compressed, so its a bit messy full screen. This is just a random best lap replay with 2 bad turns cut out I had saved on my mem card from when I was messing around with my newly earned cars. Its the Nismo R-33 GT-R Road Car, 466hp on sims.

comments? opinions? suggestions? This is a teaser vid cuz I am gonna cut together a really nice vid but its going to be at least 2 weeks before its done.

That was some nice drifting there. When you switch to the bumper view I noticed you had TCS on... was there a s specific reason for that.. perhaps just that particular car or is that your style? I've never tried it so I'm not sure how good it is :)

Good stuff man, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us

just to help me control the car better since I suck and the car has alot of hp. I usually leave it on 1, just cuz I'm not too coordinated with my foot and my gas pedal is very picky.

Nice drift in the first corner I alway have trouble making that one in one long drift turns in to two small drifts insted of one big one .

Music nice choice, and during the second part was real cool posting up your dash, And im guessin that if you aint turn on TCS the wheel spin woulda been uncontrollable?, i mean...jesus....466 on sims? That's crazy!

not really, the TCS is only kicking in a little you can hear the difference and see the little light blink when it kicks in, so I could control the wheelspin with it off, it just makes my life alot easier, so if its there, why not?

I love this Mugen S2000, its just plain gorgeous.

maybe someome can help me wih this type of corner ?

nah, its all going to be cut drifts, but it will show full drifts and links. My vid project is going to include drifts from almost every GT3 track with all the best and most famous drift cars in GT3(japanese anyways). Needless to say, the project is going to take a long time, between making all the custom setups, learning to use each car, going out and actually doing the drifts, learning each track and the best line for links and drifts, then editing the movie, adding titles and credits, effects, music, etc etc etc.

For anyone who didnt read it, the tcs is only on one.

The key is to hold the drift steady. If you cause your car to angle too much to the corner, you lose too much speed, and your drift is cut short. However,if you go in too fast or dont slow down enough, then you go flying into the skittles, or worse, the wall. The key is to think of it as two corners that are linked at once. For example, on that corner on AH, give yourself two targets, first one being the center of the outside rumble strip, and the second being the apex for the 2nd corner. Then, while you are aming for these targets, set it up so you can hit the next without stopping your drift, once your get down linking the first two corners, add another target for the outside of the following straight, then the outisde of the next corner, apex of the next corner, etc. Just pre-determine where you want the car, and then do what you need to to put it there.
