I know this is gonna get shipped off to the Playstation 2 forum but I checked that area out and the guys seemed like gamers more than GT3 people so I wanted to get your feed back too.

What do you guys think of mc2 for drifting or a car game? is it worth getting? Is it worse than Auto Modelista? Has anyone played it? Thanks

I've played it before. It doesn't have a good selection of cars or anything, the cars don't even have their real names. As far as drifting I don't know, but by what I could tell while my friend was taking his turn at the game, there isn't much. Overall I would give it a 5 out of 10. It also has traffic to hit, which kinda sucks after you've just wasted the one and only turbo they give you and you slam into a car a 1/2 mile down the road because you didn't see it in time. If it was me I would get AM, but this is strictly my opinion. If it was me I wouldn't buy it, but then again I've also already played it so I know what to expect. You could always go and rent it.

Midnight Club 2 really sucks. Especially since it doesnt have the pressure sensative button feature. And the traffic the 69Dodge_Charger speaks of flys like tiny pieces of paper when hit. It just isnt very realistic.

In MC2 you 'drift', but its only your back end flying out for a split second, and if you hit something, it flys across the screen. Its a decent game, but after you've played GT3 for a while it isnt that great.

GT3 is a way beter game, mc2 is pritty easy and its also easy 2 drift in mc2 when u have the veloci "saleen s7" online is pritty fun in mc2 tough....

MC II was ok, good as a rental for 3 days in my opinion, I rented it overnight and got about halfway through it. :) It's fun for quite a while, but then it gets boring because of the cars...

Neeeyah, not very realistic, and too ricey IMO, although some of these cars would be classified as "Racers" and not ricers. The NOS motionblur thing is like in 007 Agent Under Fire...

This is more of an arcade game so its not supposed to be realistic, so you can't really compare the two games. Anybody noctice how you hit 60 mph under 2 seconds? Or even a biker doing a wheelie at 220 mph then hitting the nitrous.

If you don't have the network adapter and broadband then its only worth the rent. But if you do and like a differen't type of racing game, then its worth the buy. You can do racese, capture the flag, or just cruise which you can just mess around in. And you can turn traffic on and off but thats only for online and arcade play, not career.
