Hey everyone, I ran a search for threads on wallpapers and not much came up, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere to go where I might find some cool GT3 Wallpapers? Thanks a lot and sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time...

You know.... theres a thing at the top that says GRAN TURISMO 3...
Thanks, you're really polite and curteous. I appreciate your absolutely un-condescending response to my question. If you don't have anything nice to type, go find a bus to catch.

Bus's are for the weak. People who use the search button are strong.

I already mentioned that I searched the threads, and excuse me if I didn't know this site had a few screenshots on it. But tell me how you're helping anyone by making such a comment? I think you just like to waste people's time. I would appreciate it if you'd find another thread to pollute, because you're not adding anything to mine.

If you did search, you would've come up with this thread:

If you just searched the GT3 forums would've had no luck.

Those screenshots are at a low resolution and don't look all that good when I make them into wallpaper ( I have my desktop set to the maximum resolution). Know of anywhere else I can find bigger pictures?

The desktop picture on GTPlanet are high-res.
If they are not High-Res on your computer, Then good luck, we can't help your problems.

No no, he means that the size of the images are low resolution for example if he is using 1600x1200, then a 640x840 desktop wallpaper wouldn't even cover the middle of his screen, if he stretches it, it get's blury. I guess GTPlanet's desktop are small sized compared to his screen resolution.

Besides, the thread you linked to has the same link to GT3 Wallpapers as my quote does.

This quote was the second post in this thread.

Every link leads to the same wallpapers page, and I searched Wallpapers and nothing came up. Is it that difficult to give me an answer, or do you like the extra work involved in telling me where I went wrong?

If means that, we is should adjust itself automatically.

sUn, remember my Desktop I showed you on AIM?

That picture is originally 800x600. And my Screen is 1280x1024.

1152 x 864, and a wallpaper is usually an image cropped to a certain size to it will fit your desktop without having to be stretched. The only problem is that you lose clarity and the image often comes out pixelated when you try to apply it to a higher resolution desktop; even though the image is being stretched proportionally both horizontally and vertically, it still looks crappy.

I think thats just because of your computer...

You won't find many wallpapers to suit that resolution, the best you'll find are, 1280x1024, 800x600, 1024x768.

Largers images are much better than having a smaller image on your desktop.

Nope, he's right there is a considerable difference in image quality.

Yeah if it's a bit larger or a bit smaller, you usually can't tell the difference, and larger to smaller never results in image quality loss. The GT4 images are set to higher resolutions, and there's an option to select one of two sizes. Presumably this is because the GT3 ones were too small. Thanks a lot guys. I was also looking for home-made ones, not just screenshots. Maybe a "car collage" or something, I don't know...
