How come I lose all my torque when I start to upgrade my cars, I have a mitsubishi 3000 gt-four, it started with somewhere around 314 lb/ft of torque, as soon as I started my mods, it was down to around 50lb/ft, and even after mad upgrades it 's still only about 60 lb/ft, with 500-odd horsepower, that's simply a useless combination!

If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated:eek:

the game is probably in error or showing torgue in metric.

If I am not mistaken, some changes to the cylinders, bore and stroke, will effect torque, f1 1 cars have the reverse of most cars, so they (f1) have high strokes and low bores, or just lower. but i may be wrong.

Welcome to GTPlanet!

This is a very good question and that has happened to me as well. I was always wondering about that, maybe they show it in lb/ft per cylinder or cc of displacement.

http://www.onlineconversion.com/torque.htm

if you enter the 60 as kilogram-meters, you will see that the footpounds, are over 433. interestingly, foot pounds and pounds feet may or may not be the same, but they are used so often for same car, who knows? i prefer pounds feet.

In GT1 as well, but its speed made up for the turning!!

it might be gt1 that i'm thinking of. i don't remember. i'm just glad to have beaten the nsx in that expert race in gt1.

I remember trying to beat the Skyline Licsence Test at Trail Mountain for hours before finally beating it by .01X seconds!

i checked gt1, there is no skyline test.
