first i would like to start off by saying that i am not a sentimental person, i am described as a very cold person when it comes to expressing emotions. but as i was watching the drifting videos on the main web page i stumbled upon the video done by member X, and i'm telling you that video made me feel something. something that made me write this post.
on July 10, 2001 a game came into my life or should i say into our lifes. the lifes of car and racing Enthusiasts alike, a game called GT3. i say it like this because nothing have influenced the gaming comunity as much as this game have done.
so many things have been done with this game, it started with the wheelie trick, at least to me. then there was the engine swaping using game shark, drifting, the lamborghini download, events for best times using the net, videos, merchandise.
i'm telling you guys i'm falling short on words here, i have no idea what else can i say other than......................well i think you guys know what i mean
yes these are the tears of joy, why i have no idea maybe you guys can tell me.

i'm telling you, look at all the websites and forums dedicated to this one game, how much it influnced the world as a whole. it had so much influence that even hard line auto magazines like Car And Track wrote about it and about GT4, how much more of a cultural impact are you looking for. other racing game take the gt series as an example on how to make racing games.
