GT300 and GT500 post same lap time!

I'm in an empty online lobby. I drove a GT300 and 500 car at Tsukuba, the 500 I did the chicane and 300 didnt. The times were within .1 ... Over a 5 lap test every lap with both car was in the range of 54.9 and 55.4. If you would like to test this for yourself, come to my lobby, I want to see what's faster in race conditions.
 
Well it's not the same if one has even one more corner to do; either make them both do the chicane or neither do it.
 
How much BHP did you have?

^This^ The other test makes no sense at all...
 
GT500(500BHP)-with chicain= 52.928
No chicain=50.252
