is gt4 gonne be an 70 to 80 % online game, i hope thats not the case and that the GT mode is back, and that online racing is just an extra, guz i really want to have a normal GT and not one that is basically an online game. can someone set my mind at eas and tell me the GT mode is gonne be back, i wanna buy cars modify them and race them, clean them buy some more work on the setups:( will that happen again :(
 
GT mode will be back and its called GT Universe. The main focus is still on the GT mode and the online part of the game will not be too big. There is also another mode in the game called GT-TV where you make your own racing team and set the race strategy and things like that but you cannot drive the cars in the races. Search around and you'll find out more about it
 
...thanx man, that set my mind at ease, i was so afraid it would mostly be online, thank god that's not the case. i've never heard about that GT-TV thing, are you sure, is this confirmed, i think it's a great idea:) oooh where are you gt4, light up my dark!
 
It is confirmed, I read it in the official playstation 2 magazine. I can do a scan of it if you want it

I've only scanned the gt tv part because the whole page took up 25mb of space and i don't think you want to download that.

The GT TV Mode
This one took us by surprise. It works like this: create a race team, decide on a race plan including driving strategy and car set up. Then watch your car race against six other teams online. The key word to remember here is watch. Either this is a brave step in forming the future in interactive TV or it could be the most boring game mode ever invented.
 
Are you saying that it will be like a manager game i hope not:irked:
 
yeah it will, but it's just an extra, dont worry about it, you'll be fine as will we all;)
 
it will be a interesting extra that will add more life to the game........as if it would ever run out of life
 
i only like it if it is an extra, everybody wants to race for themselves en doesn't want to watch a race like it's championship manager 2003-2004.
 
It could be like being the mechanic and manager, setting up the car and letting the driver race it, and giving the pit strategy and such.
