hiya Guys! Just joined the Forum. I drive a C43 AMG in case anyone is wondering. Anyway. Got some news about GT4. I PLAYED IT AT E3!!!!!


Yes I went to E3, and I searched High and low for it. found it. Its actually Playstations "biggest" thing this year. Some details:

THE BEST GOD DAM LOGITECH WHEEL IS COMING!!!!! Thats right. Sorry I dont have any pictures, but logitech is once again making a wheel specifically designed for GT4. Get this, IT HAS A 900 DEGREE TURNING RADIUS!!!!! HOLY COW!!!! ITS A REAL CAR NOW!!!! Yup. I used it on the rally courses, what a workout. My arms actually hurt from turning it so much. ITs extremely durable too, everytime I play GT3 with my logitech Driving force I feel like im gonna break the dam thing. I might say it will be in the price range of $100-$200, not sure yet, but it will be released with GT4 in the fourth quarter of this year. It will also include GT4 free with purchase.


As for the game, holy ****, it looks great. Im sure you already know this already so Ill leave it at that. Glad I found this forum. Look forward to many posts
 
Awesome, and welcome to the community. As I'm sure you guessed, GT4 is the most anticipated game here and will be the hot buzz topic as we progressively get closer to a release date.

So how much time did you actually get to log onto the game?
 
IT was a demo with all the rally cars, a few road cars, and 3 tracks. I spent about 3-4 hours playin. My favorite has always been the rally. But I love it all. I used the Penzoil LE Mans car on a Japanese Circuit and the Evo 8 and Evo 8 Tommi car on a new course for rally based of the Grand Canyon. Its a really unforgiving course but it just takes time to get used to the wheel. Such a huge difference from all the other wheels. YOU GUYS NEED THIS WHEEL I AM NOT KIDDING IT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Lol I just realized, I sound like a logitech spokesperson. :lol: im not though lol. Just a GT fan. I also spoke with a few reps from playstation and logitech. Ask away maybe I can answer some of your questions about the game
 
Is that why all the IGN people sucked so much(in their preview vids)? Because of the wheel. Because most of their turns looked pretty late and they ended up running into the wall. Plus this game has a new engine so its different then GT3.
 
That 100-200$ price range... is it in canadian currency... cuz if it aint.. dammmm... it must be a great wheel but sooo ****in pricy!
 
Yes its US dollars. Maybe that is why they sucked because of the wheel. I did pretty well after a few tries though, beat the Logitech people time wise on the rally course with no assist functions. MAn o man it is so much difference with driver assist functions off.
 
NEVER USE DRIVING ASSIST FUNCTIONS, A REAL DRIVER DOESN'T THESE!!;)

I would like to SPIN that wheel !!!! but how much better is the game actually looking, and how are the cars handling?
 
Yes Spinning the wheel is loads of fun. Its so incredibly durable I swear its unbreakable. So I showed no mercy on it and was spinning it like crazy. as for the Game I noticed huge graphics improvements, but as for the engine and how everything drives, I wont say anything because I have to play it long enough to really notice differences and improvements
