Well i was at the local store looking at the new OPM issue and it had an article about gt4 so of course i bought it and when i came home and read the article i was greatly dissapointed. It said that the new gt4 game wouldnt come out untill the ps2's hardrive came out (probly for uploading songs and cars from the internet) but.... this could be late 2004 because they already delayd the release of both items twice

I dont think the hard drive will be as important as the online apsect of the game, because the network adapter has already been established all over the world.

yea i kinda figured it was fake but it was the only thing i have heard so i thought it was close anyways most of the cars will be on it except for like maserati and all those **** european cars
but i hope all the alfa's that it said will be on it
and also what about racing modification will that be available this time around?
Sony is NOT going to delay the release of GT4 because of the hard drive. Sony hates the idea of a hard drive for the PS2 because it would cut into their profits from the sale of the memory card.
But we don't need to worry about memory cards for much longer. The PS3, which will most likely be released in late 2005, will have a High-definition DVD recorder data/video based game disk format, which will allow you to save your game status on the game disk itself.
