I heard that if you used GT1 data and then played GT2 one the smae memory card that the GT1 data like takes over it. Will this be the same with GT4. Like will you have to either delete the GT3 data(which I dont wont to do) or would you have to buy another memory card, if you didnt want to delete it????

Your Gt3 data is a seperate game. Gt4 will have its own slot.

What your probably thinking is in GT2 you could use the licence test data from GT1 to skip the first GT2 licence, because you had already done them in Gt1.
 
I remember trying to transfer the licence data from GT1 to GT2, didn't work though since originally I had PAL version of GT1 & NTSC version of GT2 :D
 
Yeah, the shared data with GT1 and 2 didn't merge it into one GT2 game save, it found the GT1 game save and it unlocked the frst two licences for you in GT2, you could still go back to GT1 and use your GT1 save.
 
I just hope there is a GT3 to GT4 save. I have an all golds game saved on one card, and a 229 Day save on the other.
 
ok thanks for that. and one more thing, will you be able to have seperate accounts cause I will be playing it by myself and my brother will want to play it aswell, will we both have to do the same game or can we have seperate saves?
 
If you're able to name your save files then you only need one memory card. If it's been like the last three, you'll need another memory card.
 
Go Sony cashin in on the memorycards.Way too expensive :rolleyes:
