GT4 Disc problems?

Ok so a while back I tried to play GT4 and when I put the disc in:

Black screen
It won't start
Disc refuses to spin
I can't turn my PS2 off
I can only turn it off by opening it & then Holding down the On/Off button

All of my other games work, just not GT4. I have a slim. Does anyone know the cure?

I only had this problem on my fat ps2. but then i got a slim so try clean the "eye" of the ps2

It works fine on my friends' PS2s. Fat & Slim. I guess just need a new PS2.

Try leveling your laser. It gets knocked out of place slightly, and because GT4 uses a slightly different format to some PS2 games, the laser must be able to read it without a problem.
