GT4 drift is BULL****

OK firstly

i have been drifting on LFS for 2.5 years now and i know my genral lines, i know when and why to use e-brake whilst in drift and i also know to utilize over/under steer to advantages,

i also drift GT3 which has nice phys (a little sloppy but) but can link and push lines although the whole concept of counter/no counter steer whilst in drift is BS

GT4 phys were remapped and messed up as far as im concerned as i have played and almost mastered all of the GT series

i read a thread where a guy was complaining about how it so gay to drift in GT4

, a guy replyed *well u gotta be good in real life, which is bs cause in real life u have senses, 100% real phys, adrenaline, vision and other things that can alter judgment,

i have set up few cars and have pulled off some decent slides and linked sevral lines bottom line is.

GT4 DRIFT IS GAY, ANYONE HERE WHO THINKS ITS GOOD IS GAY, AND ALL THE VIDEO CLIPS IV SEEN OF GT4 DRIFT ARE CRAP, WRONG LINES ETC, NOT LINKING WAT THEY SHOULD BLAH BLAH< LEARN TO DRIFT LFS as IT HAS BEST DRIVING PHYS EVER, AND REQUIRES ALOT MORE SKILL!!!!!!!:grumpy:

u all watch to much tv, go get a real drift car,
 
ok, what you have to understand is some people cant drive yet so they cant drift in real life. and yes there are little frikin F&F posers who think there the **** and then try to drift. those are the people you should be mad at. and you said you've been drifting for 2.5 yrs and know everything, well some people dont, i making a video right now, my drifting isnt awesome, it just comes close to good. but id like to show off my amature drifting.
 
fair enough at least u guys understand, honestly if u want to get into competitive drifting where u can edit ur cars engine and stats completely and drift online with nearly 100% real phys and %100 c/s play LFS
 
I agree with half of what you say, but the other half about YOUR experience in real life I am questioning. So what you have 2.5 years experience in LFS. That's still nothing like the feel of driving in anger in real life.
 
I agree with the GT part. I went back to playing GT3 because drifting is just so much more enjoyable in so many ways.

The only thing I like better in GT4 is the better weight physics.

That part in CAPS is just plain ranting and yes I enjoy LFS.

Unless you are able to prove beyond a doubt that GT4 and its simulation of drfiting is in fact homosexual you will stop using the term to describe it.

Use of the term as an insult in this manner is quite simply offensive, and is quite clearly against GT Planet's AUP.

In addition the swear filter here at GT Planet exists for a reason, unsurprisingly its to stop you swearing, attempts too get around this in posts or thread titles are also not permitted.

Do not do it again.

To top it all off this is hardly an original topic for a thread, do you honestly think that this has never been discussed before. A quick search shows found this:
