GT4 DVD won't load anymore!

Hi there.
My DVD is absolutely crystal clean and with no visible scratches. I've opened up the PS2 and cleaned every bit that was to clean. Any other cd, dvd, cd-r, dvd-r loads just fine (actually ntsc-cd's don't, but that's my modchip non-fuction). So... i am quite concerned that an original DVD doesn't load.
Any ideas?

Is this "GT4 DVD" the actual game or some DVD that's about the game?

If it's the former, then you might want to look here.
 
yeah its the actual game. The strange thing is it used to work. Maybe my PS2 became anti-originals lol :sick:
 
PS2's in my experience are prone to playing a game one day, and not the next. Look in the link in Ducks post to find out what you can do.

Also, looking in the "Read This" threads at the top of the page would have answered your question without making this thread.
 
sorry for that, i searched a bit and couldn't find an answer, but obviously not deep enough.

What do you mean when you say ''anti-originals''? Try cleaning the disk with tooth paste.Sounds strange but it works
 
I think he means that his PS2 won't play originals any more...

Anyway, I hope you got your problem sorted.
