Now I was bought to this subject in the GT1 forum by some guy. He was saying how much more money PD would make if they made a GT series arcade game. So this probably wont happen, but imagine if GT4 was an arcade game and a PS2 game. Think about it, you wouldl be able to get on with the sim mode at home and tune your cars up real nice, get a killer setup on your memory card. Pop off to the arcade and go and whip some arse with your car. Imagine how fun it would be with a huge monitor and Ferrari F355 steering wheel and shifter setup. 6 or more human competitors racing against each other all with their own cars with their own set up.

You know it makes sense, even the little kiddies could do their wheely trick races on the test course to see which of their escudos are faster. :D

If they made it an arcade game first, do you know how much LONGER we'd have to wait? At least another year or so! I say no way!

Well no because if they used the arcade system that uses the PS2`s hardware (I think soul calibur 2 uses it) it would basically be a cut down port of the game that just encompasses an arcade mode that you can load your personal cars into. This could be released after the console version, so you can get your coo cars when you go to the arcade.

Yeah, this is one of those things that would be cool for GT freaks but won't happen. Arcades are dying off anyways.....If its a matter of making more money they should make a separate rally game or maybe a superbike game or take a whack at a dirtbike game (I have never played a really good one).

But yeah, if you had the right people playing, you would have some sweet competitive arcade action.
(Instead of DDR for godssake)
