No wall riding or touching at all
Rumble Strips are part of the track

This looks excellent. 👍 And yes, you should have used N1s. Unfortunately, I'm tied up in the FGT championship right now, so I can't try it yet, but I'm sure that it will be very fun. Did you get your inspiration from an old WRS, week 80, which used this car here on sports tires?

Nope. Just reading my Prima Strategy Guide and happened upon the car by accident. As you know, I'm a fan of N's and cars I haven't had the chance to drive. Wanted N1's but thought a lot of people wouldn't share our interest. I'm not very good at them, what with using AT. But it's a lot of fun. And didn't want to finish first if I was the only one entered. Hell, I can do that by myself.

If we get enough interest I'll do more. Much less time consuming than my TTCRS that ended.

Stupid ? Where do I access those results so I don't repeat anything too recent?

Don't worry about it - that WRS race was close to four years ago. Old WRS races and results are in the WRS Archive subforum, but you'll have to set your default settings in the user control panel to display threads more than a year old, or else change it manually at the bottom of the page when viewing a subforum. When I was new to the site, that took me a long time to figure out.

I think the double post is justified.

Unfortunately, this isn't as enjoyable as I had expected. Even though I've come to like George V Paris, this car always seems wider than you expect, and the gears are way too tall. More importantly, the back end slides way too easily under throttle, and so it takes only a very small missing of the line or the speed to have it swing around and into the wall exiting the corner.

I think it because many parts of the course are extremely narrow. And I suspect that you've improved a lot since then. 👍

I think it has more to do with the fact that when I drive here, it's normally in powerful cars on low-grip tires (I like to put N1s on supercars and take them to various tracks), and in those, you don't feel like you can push as hard as you can in the Hommell. That brings me to a suggestion: contrary to what you would expect, several supercars (e.g. the Nardo and the Audi Le Mans Quattro) are very fun here on N1s, and might make for some enjoyable "recreational" driving. Time trialing them competitively might sap the fun, when you start to push harder and run into walls, but it would probably be worth a try.

After the weekend I might put up the thread. It seems that nobody but us has the guts to drive with N's.

I'll jump on board, after 45 minutes behind the wheel managed to string together a clean lap of 1'37.185. This is one tough combo to get right, the first section is really enjoyable though, drifting the long sweeping left hander Edit: T1 44.729
