GT4 Photo Problem with PS3

Hey, I can't find this in any other threads... I have a 60GB PS3 and when I'm in photo mode, I can't save my pics to the USB stick I have in the system...

But when I go to the PS3 main menu, the stick shows that it's there.

Any chance anyone else has had this problem and knows how to get around it?
 
I've only tinkered with PS3 pre-release while living in Japan. I'm just guessing but maybe it needs directory on the USB. PS2 creates that automatically. I'll see what I can dig up from my buddies at Sony.
 
Well I don't know a lot about PS3 a lot (since I haven't owned one yet) But which usb port did you use for the thumbdrive? I think GT4 could only detect the thumbdrive in port 1 and 3 (much like the G25 case) So try that and see what happens. :)

I had it in 4, then put it in 1... I don't know if that's what did it or not because it still didn't work right away... but it works now, it's just really slow.
