PhotoMode/Photoshop competition rules:
Photoshop MUST be used (or other photo editing program)
You may alter the photograph in ANY way, the more creative the better
The photograph must be hosted by ImageShack
The photograph must be within the parameters of each weeks theme, chosen by the judge
Deadline will be during the day on the following Saturday
Each Person will be allowed THREE entries
Entries will only be considered if "ENTRY" is above each one
Only 20 Entries will be voted on, and will be selected by the judge
The judge will be the winner of the previous week's vote

Judge: Mr. Toad

Theme: Power & Muscle.

What does power & muscle look like to you?
Is it an old Buick rearing it's head & burning the quarter Mile?
Is it a fire-breathing monster taking air in Seattle?
Is it 2 GT4 Subarus battling for position in Japan?

I don't know! Old muscle or new, 'sup to you. Just smoke 'em if ya got 'em!

I would like to see a poster or advertisement (newspaper, billboard, etc.).
Poster and ad can advertise anything (event, product, car, etc).

Hopefully it's not a repost pic...
and as you may have suspected by now I like extensive Photoshopping, so if you're so inclined, play away!

Wouldn't mind seeing some kameleon colors....
but don't let that sway your direction, just Toad stickin' his nose where it doesn't belong....

I have an idea. And like the most of my ideas, it's meant funny. Now all I have to do is take pictures and turn my pc on to ps them
 
I will see if I can pull off a bit of time this week for this one. We will see ... :sly:

Well so far this is good news... It seems that a few people like the challenge...
I've tried to keep this as open a theme as possible (so imaginations can run amuck).

Glad to see Vicious's brain is back. Get on it Franz (Buicks, perhaps?). And where is SuzyQ?

To be honest this is my third time entering...week 7 and 9 were the others (I think?) BMW ad and Dealership ad...I know there's no chance for me to win but I do what I can to get you guys more entries :)

Feel free to enter my comfortable muscle car competitions too :dopey:

I heard Suzq lost her photoshop and the evaluation period of her CS2 has gone

Yeah, I guess I'm pretty lucky, averaging just over 20 entrants per week.
 
This is the image I plan to use. Now I have posted it in my little gallery thread, but it has never been used for anything else, so... Now I just have to think up of something clever and eye-catching to put on it.

Wow! Nice theme! Hmmmm. I guess I'll start doing one tonight! Good thing, too, I've been practicing my photoshop tyre smoke!
 
I just finished taking a lot of pics which fit in the "Smoke'Em If You Got'Em" catagory. Hopefully one will make the cut and be posted probably tomorrow.
 
Ok guys, here is one from me! The "SMOKE EM IF YOU GOT EM" quote was actually printed on Mopar shirts you could buy at the Mopar Nationals last year, specificaly made for Brice Road. Most of you probably don't know what or where brice road is, but it's a road in Columbus Ohio where all the Mopars go cruise every night during the Nationals, and there are burnouts galore! So I thought It would be fitting to make a sort of advertisement for Brice Road. Hope you like it!

I'm likin' it 440... good background info on the Mopar Nationals (always good to know stuff like that), enjoyed the 'smoke 'em here' line on the entry.

And I never knew that "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em was used in a campaign, so that's good to know too!

A Mr. Toad thought: Maybe for an upcoming compo, do a shirt design theme for an event (like the burn-out thing...). Probably been done before...

hehe....hit some walls spun around and held it in 4th gear while mashing the gas...burn out all the way up the hill!

Great stuff 400! Very nicely done.


A t-shirt could be the next theme, although that would exclude me :dopey:
 
stumpydino gonna killed us all because he did airbrush t-shirt before
but anyhow ... he have to use GT4 photos, thats another story :D

Driving a Mustang in a straight line can prove diificult when it has 600+hp and traction control switched off.
PS The definition is actually out of a real dictionary.
