Do people have opinions about what might or should happen to all the GT4-related content that Polyphony have compiled (ie. footage of cars testing, photos of cars, etc)?
For instance, real footage was used for the credits of both GT3 and GTC... In GTC, there is footage of 350Z, RX-8 and Mazda6/ Atenza on the track. It seems to be official company footage rather than Sony/Polyphony footage, but through all the testing for GT4 they must have heaps of new footage.
I'd like to see it bundled/edited as prizes or something, so that, for instance, if you win a race series called "Nissan Z Challenge", perhaps you win Yamauchi's tuned Z33 and in-car video footage of Yamauchi driving a hot lap of Fuji. That'd be cool.
A lot of testing footage has been gathered for those Motor Garage clips - that's the sort of stuff, plus perhaps photo galleries supplied by manufacturers, particularly for older cars/racecars.
That's something that interests me, but I guess we'd all rather have them working on car and track modelling, and filling the game disc with that sorta interactive content.
I just wouldn't want all that awesome Best Motoring/Top Gear style motoring action going to waste - and don't tell me they were just recording sound levels of the cars, cos some of the cars were getting a genuine workout at the track. Particularly memorable was that FC3S drifter in the Motor Garage clips. For this stuff to get included I guess we'd need to believe in GT4 being a 2-disc game.
Oh well, they'll probably just release a Japan-exclusive DVD called "The Making of Gran Turismo 4"!
