I'm sorry because I can't help in your question, but in fact there are as many "best strategy guides" as there are people writing them. What works for me might not work for you at all.

It depends on how you want to play the game, are you just going to 100% completion or are you trying to achieve the maximum A-Spec points for example.

The question of the best cars is the most difficult question of them all, because everyone has their own driving style and own preferences. In some situations a well-handling 500 bhp car can beat a 1000 bhp monster easily, so there really isn't such a thing as the best car.

Give us a little more information of the specific races you're having trouble in and we will gladly help you out. :)

And welcome on GTPlanet!

thanx man haha yeah i did make this confusing well. really just a walkthrough. cause i just bought GT4 yesterday and was wanting the best way to get started.

but to be more specific i was wondering if theres any guide to win all the races with the right car and right tune ups for each race you know sorta like a walkthrough for the simulation mode. but still never seen any sites with that info only seen ones for the other GT's

so was wondering if anyone knew any sites with any walkthroughs and stuff you know.

thanx.

will.

You might find some help in the race reports, you read about peoples pit startigys there for the enduro's. I never eally needed them cause i just b-speced them with a over powered car. :scared:

This is simply asking too much.

You do realize that in most races (barring family races), the field of AI cars changes. Race strategy will be forced to change because of this. As well, your car settings and tire choice will directly impact your tire wear rate - so to nail down a generalized perfect pit strategy for any race is impossible.

The right car and settings is very player specific, as has been mentioned by Greycap. For any given car in GT4, you'll find as many different setups as there are people playing the game. Certainly there may be certain settings guidelines that you can employ to help make a car quick - but what is a comfortable and quick setup for you may not fit well to someone elses style of driving (and vice-versa).

If you just got GT4 the other day, play through it on your own for a little bit. After you've got a few licenses under your belt, and the beginner hall out of the way, you'll find the game to be very wide open. Unless you're going for the bare minimum days to reach 100% in, there's no set order that you need to do anything in as long as you have the necessary licenses (barring of course the requirements to open enduros and the extreme hall)

If you do have specific goals in mind, like max a-spec points, winning with stock cars, etc... then you will find threads here to help guide you through that.
