Welcome to the voting stage for Week 11 of the Rally Photomode Competition.

Another great week of great pictures setting a record for the number of entries!! Thanks to all that support and submit entries to this competition. Hopefully, we'll have a record turnout for voting also. Remember, no voting for your own picture. And please, no hints as whose picture is who's. I will post all the entries with the name of the entrant after the poll has closed. Thanks again everyone.

some good entries this week, even though I hate the snow stages (becasue I'm crap driving on them!)

btw shouldn't it be post 1980s cars? and 80s doesn't have an apostrophe ;)

OK, OK! It's late. :) I just got through with a 4 hour drive back to Dallas from Austin. My mind is numb. Yes, POST 1980's American car on ice or snow. 👍 And all the times I've seen years as plural, it's had an apostrophe. But it really doesn't matter does it? :indiff:

Ford Focus is not an American car - it was developed by Ford Europe for the european markets, and then got exported to the USA. It is strange how PD split Ford into USA and Australia, but put all the European Fords in USA too. Ford Ka and RS200 are further examples.

I'm voting for the white crossfire -great choice of colour, and looks good 👍

Ford is German :ouch:

Yeah you are right, the poll is already up and Ford is standing ALSO into the American part, it doesn't matter now..

I allowed the Focus in because it's listed with the American cars in GT4. I would also have allowed the RS 200 if anyone had entered it. Again just because it's listed as an American car in GT4. I didn't want to get into a squabble over where the cars were developed, produced or even raced. In the grand scheme of things Ford IS an American company. Ford of Europe and Ford of Australia are mere extensions of the main company based here in the US. Yes, they have their own design and production departments and facilities but then so do Lincoln and Mercury which are also owned by Ford.

Oh god, who put that spoiler on the DeLorean?

there are no purebred american cars anymore, so get over it. lol

I just remembered something about this American car thing. If I were to be a stickler about it, I would have to disallow the GTO also. It's a Holden with Pontiac badging. If I remember correctly, it's also built in Australia and imported in to the US. So like the lady says....

And besides, this poll needed to be bumped up anyway.

So, those of you that haven't already done so....vote, vote, vote!!

This is the middle of the week bump-up so that all the straglers can get their votes in that haven't voted yet. We've got a close ballot this week so everyone make sure you vote for the one that you'd like to see in the Hall of Fame next week.

OK, this is the end of the week bump up. We've got a VERY close ballot this week and we need to get ALL those that haven't voted yet to do so. So, look over this week's candidates and vote for the one you think is best. Thank you to all those that have already voted and be sure to tell your buddies to vote also. 👍
