GT4 Supercars/Le Mans type cars

In GT3 in terms of top end, non-F1 cars, the fastest cars around most circuits were the R390, GT-one, and 787B. How many more of these kind of cars do people reckon will there be in GT4? I saw screenshots where they had a Mercedes C9, which will probably fall into that class. I also saw a mean looking BMW Le Mans looking car. Any others?
 
There are tonnes in GT4, the two Pescarolo's, the BMW LMR, the BMW McLaren F1 GTR, the Mercedes CLK_GTR, the Mercedes C9, the Nissan R89C thats all I can name off the top of my head.
 
the nissan r89 is going to be in GT4. now i only wish the porsche 962 could be in GT4 but oh well. it will be interesting to see if i like the r89 more than the r390. i'm a rather big r390 fan since GT2. the mclarn f1 is going to be in it too, can't wait!
 
💡 It must have been the BMW LMR I saw in the screenshot.

btw will the Audi R8 (?) Le-mans cars be in GT?
 
WE don't know about the R8 yet, hopefully it will be.
 
that Peugeot Group C car that did 400 kph at Le Mans would be nice :)

well then i must rent this game. the 962 in forza yay! the only game i've played that i had the 962 in it was Sportscar GT for PC. but actually it was an addon i got off the internet but still it is a fun car drive. ferraris are my passion but the 962 is the car i feel like i was born to drive. anyway back to subject, i'm rambling!
 
Dauer 962 could be in the game, seeing as it is now being built (road version) by a seperate company than porsche.

Lets not forget the Zonda LM in wich i thought i couldnt beat my FTO records with :). 266mph drafts are possible with it :)

If we're talking dream cars don't forget the new Gulf GT40

Although considerably slower than cars such as the R390, don’t forget the Panoz, the old GT40 and the Jaguar XJ220 race car.

The Nissan R90CP (which is arguably cooler than the slightly dumpy looking R89C)was tested for inclusion. One would expect that the 2004 Audi R8 team Goh will be included as a result of it being both Japanese run and this years winner. It is also of note that versions of the R8 and the Bently speed 8 have featured in cheaply made games like R: racing evolution, which would tend to indicate that there is no real problem getting the licences.

Another possible is the Japanese Dome Kondo Mugen, as I believe that it ran without Namco sponsorship this year.

In regard to the GTS category, here’s hoping that PD have done a racing version of the Saleen S7 that has already been confirmed so that we can spank the GTS-R and C5R

Pagain Zonda is one of my favorites (road and race version) in GT3, so looking forward to them in my garage.

Mclaren road version is highly unlikely as the Fina LM is licensed through BMW. Hope I’m wrong, yet KY has lamented the fact that he hasn’t been able to feature the Macca.

As PD are including more group C’s I would wager that the we’ll be seeing some of the old Toyotas such as the 88C and V10 powered TS010(the GTOne’s dad) One of the group C jags will no doubt appear to challenge the Sauber Merc, albeit sans Silk Cut sponsorship.
 
Any chance that the Le Mans 24 Hour winning Bentley will be in GT4??

Yeah, those C5Rs are bad. They dominate the GTS class. 👍

Let’s address the name of the thread by thinking of all the road going super cars set to feature in GT4. Here are a few…

VW W12
Caddy Cien
Ford GT
Ford GT40 Concept
Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 (can be had in blue Mmm)
Jag XJ220
TK ZZ-II

Just remember, we’re aiming for exotica not simply high horsepower…
 
Hope the the saleen comes in more colors then gray/silver ( which ever it is ). Just looks fairly bland in thoes colors. Where are the mustangs ? Hope they save the best for last. 650 plus cars, if only 25 percent get "R" mods that would be 162 cars. With GT2, I bet there was close to 50 percent "R" mods.

The only new Mustang I saw was the new '05 model. As far as the Saleens go, they have nice colors. My favorite is probably the red.
 
The Saleen will come in all of the colours that are listed by the factory.

Unfortunately the version tested by PD is the AWD wide bodied version with the more RGTish bumper intake design. The pic above is the earlier model with the narrow body and turbo style nose. More importantly it has 520 horses and rear wheel drive… damn shame then…
