All Gt4 Fans

I Have Noticed That On Some Other Forums And Sites They Are Starting Up Some Competitions. These Basically Involve. Certain Races, Restrictions(hp, Tyres, Credits), Tracks And Other Fun Ideas. I May Have Just Been Blind And Not Seen Any Of These On This Site But Are There Any Up And Running.

It Looks Great. Racers E Mail There Best Times To One Person Who Then Posts All Of The Results When They Are In. The Winner Is Obviously The Person With The Best Times. There Are A Number Of Races Included Such As Drag, Snow, Dirt And All Other Courses Into One. You Dont Know Other Players Times As They Are Not Posted Untill All Results Are In

Is This Sort Of Thing Posted Anywhere On Here. Or Is It Something We Can Get Started.

Does This Idea Interest Any Racers Out There Who Want To Prove They Are Good Or Just To Have A Bit Of Fun
 
The restrictions will be different and will suit some 1 week and others another. This is great fun and all racers will enjoy.
 
Sounds cool, but i dunno if its been done... It might be better if people COULD see the current fastest times, as then they would know what they have to beat...
 
If People can see the times they may cheat with false times. The idea is for people to e mail the times before a certain date then they are all posted. this stops any cheating because we will see any outstanding laps or speeds that are posted. If a few people seen interseted i will set up a test week to show how it will work. Fans will enjoy this
 
Erm, like any thing of this nature would work without screen shots....
 
You don't need screenshots - and screenshots prove jack anyway.

What you have is a MASSIVE community of racers who know what is and is not possible. Anyone who exceeds what is thought to be possible is invited to demonstrate how their time was acheived. Split times help - though again are not proof of anything. Sector times help more - but are similarly not considered proof. A screenshot proves only that the time was acheived, and doesn't prove that the time was acheived without grass-mowing and wall-riding.

So anyone who consistently exceeds what is thought to be possible is asked to provide replay evidence - either through the complex procedure of recording their run through their PC, or through the very cheap and easy method of using a MaxDrive or XPort to copy their replay to their computer and attach it for verification.


We have been doing this for a very, very long time. Do some Googling on "The 9 Boards Challenge", for instance. Or take a peek into the Clean Racers Coalition thread.
