GT4 - USA - January 2004

I was at a local shop recently and saw a sign posted that GT4 is comming out january 2004 like the first week or so, and i thought i might have been GTC, but hte guys said it is GT4, its suppose to debute a month after the japanese debut, he said his info is from his boss, and this shop is GAME STOP, so i beleive them
 
Has the release date changed?

Last I've heard, and read, was that the release date was to be early December 2003.
 
I saw the sign at GAME STOP, and GAME STOP is a big nation videogame chain, so i think they are not lying when they say january, maybe they polyphonic and sony might push it before christmas, that would be cool, but i doubt it.
 
Gamespot has said for the past couple weeks or more that the release date is 1/7/2004. EBGames says its coming out 1/6/2004.

I keep tellin myself that patience is a virtue, but I'm having a hard time believing it. I can't wait another month.

Oh please, please give me the strength.
 
i guess it just comes out when it comes out, we aren't going to change it
 
ok here is the true stuff bouth a cople of new games

This is the release date 4 ebgames canada (why is the same as any other store all over north america)

Gt4: January 2004

Final Fantasy X-2 : December 2003

Halo 2 : December 2003

o also there will be NO GTC in north america... None whatsoever... Even katsoyo what ever (the guy behind the gt games) confirmed it...
 
Halo 2 is not coming out this year. No way. It isnt coming out til about march or april next year.
 
today i went at PLACE LAURIER in quebec city and i went at the Ebgames shop and i saw the gt4 box well the rpess release one with the subaru lights on it and they was a sticker on it saying : december

i asked the guy and he said its coming out in north america in december late december thats what he said

late december means = christmas
 
I asked the store in my town(Sam Goody), and they said the release date was Jan. 7, 2004. I dont think i can wait that loonnnggggg!:( :D

That's why i'm getting the Japanese one, i'm not bloody waiting untill January.

Sorry for the vagueness. But I know that I read it here.
 
GAME in the UK are saying December 2003 for Europe, but as with all Gt releases I'm taking it with a large pinch of salt. Not one game in the series has kept to its original release date (well certainly not in the UK).

The dates i posted where confirmed 2 me by the ebgames manager (for the store i whent to) and i might go and work to a new ebgames thats opening at like less then 15 minutes from me home!

Gt4- Late december/january
FFx-2 Between late november and bening january
Halo 2: december 2003 - Febuary 2004
 
EB in Richmondhill, just north of Toronto has the boxes displayed with Jan 7/2004 on them. :banghead:

im with you on that one. i mean whats with all these different bloody release dates? why cant PD and SCEE make up their minds and give us an honest answer to when GT4 comes out??!!:banghead: :banghead: :confused: :confused:
 
Jan-Feb GT4 scheduled arrival so far from both Des Moines, Iowa and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
 
Even though it is tough waiting month after month, I will rather have GT4 in a perfect state, instead of a game that is rushed out at christmas or sooner...

I know that the waiting pays off 👍

Yeah, GT1 was more polished than GT2.

imo the perfect gran turismo would have GT1's style & menus, GT2's no of cars, GT3's graphics & mileage counters ;)

Hope GT4 is that game.
 
So since the Logitech wheel comes out with the game, is there anyplace taking preorders on the wheel? Already preordered GT4 at Ebgames
 
I talked to a manager of EB when I put down my pre-order. He said Jan. 7 is a tentative benchmark release date for many games and there is a good possibility that it will change.

And they aren't taking pre-orders on the wheel (yet).
