Does anyone that has it or has had previous wheels know if it's easy to turn too hard and crack the wheel?

Basically what I'm saying, is it durable?

It should be. Especially since it's from official GT4 game (logitech design), they wo'nt make it that bad, considering it costs over 200 bucks CDN.

I just bought the wheel 2 days ago , cost me 150 bucks,

its a solid wheel, doesnt look like you can break it unless you're doing something you're not supposed to w/ it

ive also tried it with many games, it works well since it gets recgonized as the older logitech steering wheels

and it works great on your PC, even with games like racer and liveforspeed

hey wait!!!!you can use the wheel on the PC? have you tried to use it on new games like need more speed underground or any of the F1 games, because if it works on PS2 and PC i am going to buy it in a flash

Yes you can use the wheel on the PC ! :D

Only thing is that you need to install the Driving Force driver from Logitech and you are all set.

i have windows xp and the minute i pluged it in, it recognized it as driving force, but ill try installing the drivers as well.

but yea so far it has worked w/ every game that i have on pc and ps2, except tokyo extreme racer zero for ps2, i dont even know if that game even supports a wheel... but yea.

racer is an independent pc car simulator thats free you can check it out at www.racer.nl

im making a similar project myself, and im planing on making it support the full 900 degrees of this wheel

yes the new GT4 wheel works perfectly w/ pc. so far i have not found a game with analog control that doesnt recongize the wheel input.

i mean its pretty simple, the wheel is the X axis and the pedals are Y +/- axis, so if the game supports a joystick it supports the wheel.

u tried liveforspeed ( www.liveforspeed.com ) with the 900 degrees new wheel? how cool was it?

VERY COOL!!! works awesome, it feels very natural, and you can aways switch back and forth between 900degrees and 270 during the game.

however i wasnt able to get the force feedback to work, i dunno if thats the game, or i need special drivers for it

Does anyone know if theres anywhere in the UK selling the new wheel? I've looked in a couple of places last week and couldn't see it.

Have you tried the drivers yet?
Perhaps that'll fix the force feedback issue?
