OK log out from GTP right now and check out playstation.com.
I know there is now heaps of threads about GT4 but the game is to be unveiled at E3 here are a few details:-
3 modes =gran turismo,arcade, and wait for it online.
6 player online races etc
100:eek: tracks
500 cars (not the previously stated 2000)
cars= 4000 polygons each
tracks New York street, Grand Canyon

Does anyone wanna bet with me that there will at least be 1000 cars? GTC had about 373 cars alone (I know some were hidden, but all GT3 cars were there plus the extra GTC cars).

They want to do second hand cars and they want to give an overview of all the best cars in history. Add to that a few new models, and I would be seriously surprised if 'only' 500 cars would be in the game. I think what they might have meant is that there are CURRENTLY 500 cars in the game. :D They only recently started travelling around Europe and such to capture special cars after all.
 
forget the cars, what i am looking forward to are the tracks more tracks the more happy i am:D and cars, yeah ok you are right. but more tracks is even better:D
 
Just read from an Sony press release at E3, there will be a total of 500 cars to pick from with 100+ tracks to race ...
An IGN has an video clip of an rally car at Grand Canyon
 
It's going to be hard to get good at 100 tracks. The game will probably start with 500 cars then more will be added as time goes by. That's what's great about it being online; they can continually make the game better. Add cars, tracks upgrade the AI, but who needs AI when you can race against other people.

Whatever its going to be pretty awesome tho onlines no good for me I cant get broadband where I live so I called the phone company and asked when I might get it and they said ...Never:(

Heh, screw waiting for the Pal release i'm going to spend large amounts of cash on the Japanese version. As for the online play, i'm sure that will be ruined by cheaters and rammers pretty quickly, somehow i'd rather keep the old olr system.

100 freakin' tracks! I wonder how many real race courses will be included?

You could get broadband using an dish, but thats gonna cost $80.00 per month

Well, Since the releasedate in europe isn't delayed, and because we are always one of the last continents were the game is released. EVERYBODY IS WORRYING FOR NOTHING!!!! GT4 will be released before christmas, and that is logical offcourse, People spent a lot of money, just for some lazy presents. The sales of GT4 will be sky-high. The sony guys ain't stupid, this is the way to get the big bills very fast. :cool:

yes i can, I still haven't heard about any delays so let's hope it stays this way.
