Quick guide to replay checking:
  1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing medium and that the power is 485 hp
  2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
  3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
  4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
  5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

Congrats to all. This was a killer combo... I was hoping to get my goal of 1'04.9xx but just kept hitting the wall. :dopey: Advancing into D1 makes it a whole new game now. 👍

congrats to all winners, especially king/jay for beating me by less than a second. i'll get you one of these days mate! :)
thanks to sjaak for another great race week and modding us through summer 👍

Didn't the other thread say 6pm GMT? Well it's not 6 yet and I just submitted my time, hope I am not too late. I don't guess I am since this is the unoffical results...

Yep, it's 19.03 British Summer Time (BST) here at the moment, so it must be 18.03 GMT.

Time added to results.

:grumpy: Not only did I not have enough time to play this week, but I tried to wake up early this morning so I could get SOMETHING in... I set the TIME for my alarm, but never turned it ON. So I woke up ~30 minutes before what I THOUGHT the deadline was, judging by that extremely confusing GMT calculator that we're linked to. I interpreted the deadline to be 11AM for me, so I have been struggling the last 20 minutes to get something decent. Well, I didn't really get something decent, but I had SOMETHING to submit. So I come back to the computer with less than a minute to spare for the wrong deadline, and my computer is going extremely slow. I wouldn't have been able to submit anyway.

I really wish I could've played more this week! Damn monetary requirements requiring me to work two jobs.

Oh well, all of you guys who submitted are LUCKY!!! And did a great job, look at those times! The podium times in each division are amazing. 👍 👍

EDIT: Seems I'm not the only one who thought 6PM GMT was an hour later... :indiff:

Well done everyone, i would have liked to have had a better lap, but had to submit a clean one, im not even sure i made the deadline....

Good times though...

:irked:👍

Great race, GT Mode is much more demanding than arcade, trying to find the best setup. My win is also rmk700's win, without his setup I wouldn't get under 1'04.8. Thanks for the setup 👍 :) I'm sure I could get a 1'03.xxx with this setup if all the corners were as good as I can do. My replay will be posted soon.

Congrats to all those who sent their laps, and by the way, I think imfaster2! belongs to division 1 ;)

Yeah, I woke up later than I planned then paniced when i remembered that 6PM GMT isn't US time, so I looked it up real quick and there were like 20 minutes left before 6pm according to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ .

Your right mate,

I took for granted that the 6 pm GMT, because it is in London,is also the same is as the London 6 PM time.

Wrong thought.:dopey:

London 7 pm is the GMT 6 pm at the moment.

sorry about that.👍

I will replace the link in the race threads.💡

And I blame the Brits. :p

You bet, if you can't beat'em kick em out into div 1 :) Seriously impressive times this week, it wasn't that hard taking a particular racing line but finding the right one was tricky. I had trouble getting under 1:10 before I started playing with the setup and didn't get under 1:07 until I copied rmk's.

I did have one question though, rmk posted Auto 1 for the transmission but that leaves you bumping the rev limiter all the way down the straight so I couldn't believe that was what was being used. I ended up going with Auto 12 which left me not quite hitting the limiter by the end of the straight.

In the end I ran out of time, there was definitely more to be had but I had to work Saturday (in my spare time I'm a pro photographer) and last week was pretty busy all round.

Congrats to all and I look forward to seeing some of those replays.

Ruddy hell, I knew it was a quick last sector but.. phwoar...

That's what LSD settings of 40/20/18 will do for you... Way different to what everyone else was using, it seems. I didn't understand why everyone was using LSD settings which made the car understeer so much... But anywho, hope this is the right replay! :)

Wow, specatacular times and great competition. Congrats to all the winners, CMir you are lights out every week. I mostly used RMK's setup with a little more ride height and some camber and toe to help the back end come around under acceleration. Nice work by Mr. P, how you ran that time with essentially the stock setup is beyond me-too much understeer. You must really hit your lines well. 👍

Strop, the reason some were using the autoset at 1 is because of the tranny trick-set final drive to max, set autoset to 1, then move the final drive ratio back to where you hit max rpm at the end of of the longest straightaway. It seems to give better acceleration that just using the autoset to do the same without sacrificing top speed.

Replay forthcoming.

Bugger ... well that explains why all you guys were so much faster :)

Congrats on victory!👍 Great run! I had a couple tenth's left but just could'nt gather it up.
Glad my setup helped and appriciate you letting me know it helped. That's being a true gentleman, thanks. 👍:)

It's called the tranny trick but I don't thinks it's really a trick. There is a few different ways of doing it.

First I moved Auto to 25, then moved Final all the way to the right (5.500), then moved Auto to 1, and then moved final back to (3.500) or disired position.

IMO it deffenitly does not work all the time.

wow! what a race this week! 👍

i just couldnt get the tranny trick to work for me so i used auto 12 setting.

great times from everyone especially Cmir, rmk, superwally...you guys were flyin round that track for sure! and thanx for the compliment from Cmir! 👍

heres my replay:

Congrats to CMir & Imfaster2!

Some great times at the top. 👍

Here is my lap (PAL)

I will have a look at it,

perhaps you can take the trouble to watch my pal replay?

It seems the top drivers only submit but never review replays.

Those lower divisions are of no importants of course but even they spend a lot of track time to get times to be proud of.;)

Right on, right on...

Although I'd have to say racing in Div 1 must be much more frustrating... in Div 2/3, you don't need as much dedication, me thinks. While in Div 1, racing is life, so to speak.

Speaking of which, can anyone tell me (or show me where it says) what does it take for a driver to get promoted/demoted?

Cmir=clean with a very smooth track line,great run.👍

-Diego-,for a promotion racers have to outperform their division for a longer period.

Demotion is only on request by the racer himself.

At first I felt guilty of this! .. then I went and looked at my result again and feel much better :sly:

..anyway I grabbed Sjaak and Cmir's replays! .. to verify Sjaaks lap and see Cmir's driving at the same time and both laps are perfectly legal and perfectly clean 👍 I also noticed the assists on Cmir's replay and cursing myself for not getting a chance to test that set up :ouch:

Well done guys

edit: just notcied Eriks replay was not checked so I grabbed that also and its clean as a whistle and a very nice lap 👍

Perhaps i should have build my comment in a much nicer and diplomat way.:sly:

facts make things more easy:

some numbers,

since week 112 till week 120 we had 80 replays to check.

78 clean-2 dirty ,not bad 👍

But if we have a not replay supported serie :scared:,well be prepared for some miracles to happen.:dopey:
I have seen enough of those series to now what I'm talking about.

So make a choice,

1-skip the replay uploading, sure makes life easy.

2-Continue this way but make sure once in a while to down-load a replay from a fellow racer and keep the WRS professional.

and thanks Ron for the checking
