Congrats to Hugo, NielsG and EDK for winning their divisions, all poduim places and to everyone who gave this combo a chance. 👍👍

I have decided to place esh into division 2 as it is clear that he is no Division 3 driver and by allowing him to stay there for a week or so would be unfair on the rest. I hope you understand, esh. ​

Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

shows that the submitted lap turned out to be dirty or doubtful.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Normal-Sports (PAL) Normal-Road (NTSC) N3's and that the power is 288 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

What a great time by Hugo, "before he started hitting his apexes" as he said! I can't imagine what would be possible if he had his second session to hit them

There are many close results in all divisions, nice racing! And a great debut by alhajoth and esh, straight into division 2! Maybe I'll see you in D1 soon?

Wow - No wonder I had trouble improving on that time, even with faster T2's. That was a quick last sector!

OnlyMe - I did to you what 01GTP did to me the last time we ran here (In the TT touring car). That one was even a little closer, 0.013 I think it was. Great lap from you and some nice, tight racing all around.

I am back east on business and will not be back to post my replay until Saturday. I put it on the max drive last night, but didn't realize until it was too late that I could not send attachments in PM's. Kenny was gracious enough to agree to post it (If needed), but didn't have his email address so I still messed up the logistics

Ron - It was the yellow paint I tried almost every color this week, kept going back to red (both reds) but my fastest lap was yellow and my next fastest was about 0.15 behind with that moonrock metallic color. Next time we drive the S2000, I will start with yellow.

And I add my thanks to the stack for the board updaters.

BTW, I would be willing to help with this, if another is needed. Just let me know!

As to esh, it's the bittersweet fruit of success. I think Time will help put perspective on the results. The BMW at Infineon didn't suit you, but the Honda at Suzuka did. Thus, a character racer is born.

Congrats to NielsG and esh for their d2 golds this week. I knew once I had worked down to the mid 2.24's that 2.24.000 was going to be the line for gold this week. I knew that even though I had a lower t2 that my 3rd sector was strong. That's what I believed happened during the TT/Suzuka week. I only slightly pushed for the 2.23.9xx and just had that feeling I just wasn't going to eeek it out.

To all the d3 guys I kind of miss how close it is in your neck of the woods. Always seems like I'm a second or a little less off of the pace although these "normal car" setups always seem to cater to me a little more. Congrats to EDK and OnlyMe on your golds and super tight race! Wish we could overlay the replay videos and not just the stats. Maybe someone could do one of those sweet side by side edits like the Italian GT contigent has on you tube.

And you crazy mothers up in d1... well same as always. Much repspect. I don't think there will be anywhere enough time for me to catch up to times like that before GT5 comes out. Hopefully the physics engine will be strong enough to put us all on a little closer level for a short period of time. Somehow I doubt it.

On to week 144.

Had down to a 2.23.0xx dirty, with no time to clean it up/go faster.

We'll see if I have some time this week. I won't make any promises like I did last week though.

guys, i belong in DIV3. i made a big mistake and confused the PAL and NTSC settings for tire selection, which makes sense with the difference between my qual time, which rightfully placed me in DIV3, and my fast times at suzuka.

when someone posted the updated leaderboard i thought something must be wrong. i hadnt realized my times were that fast so i checked my demo and saw i was using the deafult tire selection for the S2000, not N3's. i tried a couple spins with N3's and wasn't able to get a time closer than ~+3 secs what i was getting. definately not gold DIV2

so, i've sent Sphinx a pm and told him to remove me from week 143 standings (i dont have a maxdrive yet anyway) and to consider me a newly reg'd racer in DIV3 and ill start on week 144.

sorry for storming in here like i know what i'm doing. haha, wish someone had questioned me. may have saved you all from such a nice welcome and undeserved compliments.

Your still welcome and thanks for being honest. We at the WRS are okay with simple mistakes. I myself take an extra second to double check all settings before I race. Mostly due to my age. So as chukabilly says,....Race on....

ok esh, i'll out you from luxy 143 as well to make it all equal & neat.
your mistake is easily made by anyone as gt4 is not very lucid with settings like hp and compounds, and pal/ntsc make it even worse.

We are all human and I doubt anyone here hasn't made a mistake along the way. I for one applaud your honesty and look forward to seeing what you can do with the correct set-up. I think you'll find this group quite friendly but as stated when "formula_seeker" came in here, some of these guys are the best in the world and smell a rat from a long ways away. Race on my friend and welcome!

Edit: esh, I just remembered that on my first week I was DQ'd because I mistakenly erased my replay. I think Sphinx was the Steward back then as well.
