Results of my first session of about 8 laps... in my first week of WRS! :dopey:

12.324
27.611
54.741

Feisty little car... can see spots where I can pick up time, also.

Fun stuff!

Welcome to 2k2 Z28/Drew from Maryland. What is it with people from that state, invading our site like this? :)
And congrats to your first entry to LUXY, our board that monitors the week's progress in terms of posted t's. Could you tell us your controller device for that purpose please? Thanks 👍
From your [unpronounceable] name i gather you like/own Camaros, are those the cute boxy old ones or the sleek & shiny new ones? (I'd pick the '69 striper).
EDIT update up to post 64 & thanks for the info Kevin 👍

Another session this morning. If I could sort out that T1 with any consistency, I would leap up the board. :ouch:

11.865
25.380
50.813

A small shifting mistake just after T3 cost me a tenth or two, but I still picked up about 0.3 at the line vs. my splits from yesterday.

Will probably give this one more go before submitting. This one grows on you.

Kevin

Steven - Drew uses a DS2 and the year of his Camaro is in his unpronounceable user name. 2k2=2002.

Time to get on board. Been a busy week setting up the PS3, PSN accounts and rogering my G25 and DFP-GT into a frankensteinish hybrid (DFP-GT wheel, G25 pedals). This is my second session (first wasn't good but I'll blame that on getting used to the new wheel).

11.689
25.181
50.700

And as almost never happens, the finish on this was my best yet gaining .1 at T3 and .4 at the line. Going to be hard for me to beat this one as I hate chasing those ghosts that you can keep up with until T3 and then just leave you in the dust.

Just starting out with GT5-P doing C class beginner races. I've done some online racing (GTP_Strop) but in the entry level races it's hilarious, smash up derby style racing.

maybe GT4 + GT5P week next? same car same track for both would be cool if its possible?

Any takers?

Maybe to see what the different between them is too!

Time submitted with splits on the board. Good luck to all still running. 👍

Kevin

Submitting with the time I had from my second session. Have fun trying to eke the last tenths out, everyone.

<------- Puts his hand up...

Processed Ron's time into LUXY, updated probably for the last time this week/combo.
Submitting my lap to Jerry too, can't wait to see how we stack up between t3 and s/f ...

time submited, was planing another session all week to tidying some t3-finish mistakes but never eventuated, good combo sphinx;)

Got these times after my second go at it, but couldn't get in a groove on my third session, so these have been submitted:

T1: 12.323
T2: 26.198
T3: 52.038

Time submitted.

Yes Steven, it looks as though its up to getting the chicane and that pesky last left correctly to get the last podium spot in D3 this week. It looks as though Kevin and Andy have the first two spots. Good showing so far Drew. 👍
Good luck to all

Had almost no chance to run this week...and my results show it. Even so, I just couldn't seem to figure this one out

11.952
25.699
51.126

Well the finish line is in sight again...i only had a 2 hour session on this, but made my thumbs acke

Time Submited!

QUIK!

After two more sessions the best I could do was one tenth off my record from session 2. I'm a victim of my own success. At least I got to see where I screwed up (the hairpin and the sweeping left hander after T2), but that T2 time was hard to beat. Exactly once I got way ahead of it heading for a low 50.xxx T3 but totally hosed the finish.

As predicted the finish was hard to beat, almost every lap I'd be a couple of car lengths behind the ghost at T3 and then just get left behind finishing .5 to one second behind at the finish. The one that really killed me though was the right hander up the hill just after T1, I maybe got that right one time in twenty almost always turning in too late.

Sigh... Time submitted.

My final splits from this track. Coulda nailed a much better lap had I done my perfect sectors, but when can you ever find the perfect lap? hehe

T1: 11.808
T2: 25.269
T3: 50.829

Here are some splits from a lap I just made.

T1: 11.649
T2: 25.035
T3: 50.396

Up until today my T were crappy, started with this in the weekend. I'm gonna submit this lap.

Time submitted. Wasn't able to get another run in. Checked my replay to make sure my T1 was correctly reported and it was.

Just got back from working away, only managed about 20 mins in total! Time submitted though.
