Dunno if the car is actually quicker with those settings but I feel more comfortable with them.

This is a hard one Sjaak. So far (for me) it was just who was the fastest in the time trials, what really came down to driving skills. Now, yes now, also tuning is involved. Which is a whole new ballgame for me. Until GT5p came out, the only tuning I had done (in GT4) was some camber changes, hight adjustments and gear settings. That worked out well enough. But now, oh dear, what a challange!! 👍

Anyway, here are my first splits (my best without wallriding):
T1: '26.227
T2: 50.944

nice setup..the mine is little different.
 
I tried out Zikwik's setup but ... he should've told us it is a complete BONKERS setup to be used for drifters ONLY :lol: because my beamer was all over the place on those settings - except with the headlights pointing in the forward direction :nervous: so I hastily went back to my own which are:

suspension 8.9/9.9 | r 79/84 | s 4-5-6-8 | c 3/1.3 | t 0/3 | b 5/6
tranny (tricked) 1/3.750
lsd 5/25/5 (this makes all the difference to me)
breaks default

Tried for so many laps but still can't get T2 under 51 without messing up the final passage :grumpy:

Never mind - still great fun!

The tranny is set at 11
Front camber 3º
Front toe -1º
Rear camber 1º
Rear toe 2º
Shocks at 9 all around
The height is all the way down in the front and rear, although my next runs will probably concentrate on softening the front with added height, softer shocks and less sway bars to ease control in entering the corners
ASM's are down to 0, but left TC at 1
LSD is untouched, tried to raise the acceleration setting but the car pushed too much

No worries mate, it's a good thing to publish setups, but some settings fit your driving style and others just don't, right?

Finally a session with out being tired to start with.
I tried last night and only picked up .2 at the line.
This morning every lap was faster and I have some new splits.
An oil change around 150 miles helped quite a bit also. 450 hp back to 461.

I also found that this beamer is quite an oil drinker and drops in HP quickly after not too many laps.

:dopey: LOL thnx mate but i've been tryin really hard this morning to match your splits specially after getting a 25.9xx @ T1 n loosing to the walls @ the end :crazy:

I'll try to keep it up tonight but i'm off now, tryin one last time with Truck series ;)

Made some small changes to the tune but I don't feel I am close to a good setup yet. Great combo though. 👍 Running with a DFGT now.

Seems I am a tad bit off the pace on this one...

First run with no aids, stock supsension settings and 2 clicks down on the autogear:

Gave this a few more runs today. I'm not too sure how much T2 really means, this could be interesting in the results.

I'll try a little more tonight and sub before I go to bed.

If I was any faster, I'd post my tune. I went about it on my own, but it's not that much different than jmgyro's. My camber is definitely different, and I've been messing with the LSD to no end, and finally ended up close to where Zikwik is on that part. :dopey:

EDIT:Time submitted, could not replicate the finish.

Submitting soon with the same splits as posted in Luxy.

All I did for setup was change ride height to 98 front /rear, +1 toe to the rear and tranny trick with final set at 3.950

OK, here are my final splits. I've seen a better T1 and T2 (like a 49.767 at T2), but the last effort today got me my best lap time:
