Hello everyone, welcome to week 26 of the GT4 WRS! Time to do some more tuning this week. Take this luxury Sports Sedan and make it into a racetrack terror! If you come across a good setup, feel free to post your settings to help anyone having trouble taming this fine machine. Stay out of the Kitty Litter now people. ;)​

Origianl Circuits/ Practice (Hotlap)​

Apricot Hill Raceway (Forward)​

Race Settings:​


Fully Modified Simulation Tune (621HP, 593Tq, 1494kg)
All mods are allowed from the Jaguar Tune Shop, but NOS is not allowed, and tires must be R1.
Wings from the GT Auto Shop are not allowed.
Wheels and Oil Changes and Car Washes are allowed.
Tires: Racing Super Hard (a.k.a. R1)
Driver's Choice of TCS and ASM
Driver's choice of AT or MT.

Rules:


You may discuss "T" times. No full lap time discussion allowed!

Clean OLR Standards:
No Wall touching!
Two wheels on the track at all times!
(Rumble strips are considered part of the track)
No hybrids
No Cheating of any kind
Save your best ghost replay.
Submit the time listed in replay file name

Time Verification:
-The top division 1 drivers each week will be required to submit with verification.
-All divisions of racers are subject to a request of time verification, however, this does not mean all racers will be required to submit verification for each race.
-Once a request for the verification of a time has been made the racer in question must comply.
-Any request of verification must addressed by the racer in question with in 3 days of the request. Arrangements must be made for the replay to be verified within a resonable time period, or the time in question will be removed from the WRS results and/or GTPlanet Times Database.

Deadline: Before Tuesday, October 11th, 8:00am CST
No times will be accepted after Tuesday 8:00am CST = Tuesday 1:00pm GMT

1st POST!! u manage to find the most obscure combo for us every week lol.... looks to be very interesting, Apricot Hill is my favourite original circuit, and i can learn some tuning tips as we go!!

ps. CFM... the 'Jauar Tune Shop' and 'T1 tyres' :sly:
 
kind of different, might be cool... i completely forgot about apricot hill...
 
This could be interesting! Woulda died with happiness on the S-Type on Tokyo, but this should be........different :D

Don't forget everyone, week 27 we will be using the Polyphony Formula 1 car, so make sure that you have it in your garage by next week if you wish to particiapte.👍
 
Fully modded + oil change and I get 630HP (in the settings screen) is that ok?
 
one thing i´ll never understand...

why can´t we use NOS?

i mean, could be unreal, but not more unreal than magically raising the HP by 20% or decreasing the weight by 10%...

my point is, if it is in GT, and we play GT, why are we banning this?

i don´t know why all that hate towards nitro...

Yes, for some reason it says 630 in the setting screen, but if you click on the graph it will say 621. It should also say 621 in your garage when you check the specs.

U know I got one in Yellow and one in BLACK! WOOT!!! Now I must decide to use TCS or not as this car is a BEAST without it! Bring it on next week! Ur my hero CFM WOOT!!!!

Kickass, mainly because of the track. I'll give up sleep for this race this week... :-\ Gotta get over this damn cold first though.
 
Wow!! just ran a few laps with the car stock with R1 tyres while mucking about with some ASM/TCS settings, pure fun!!! Slides a bit, handles nicely, this is gonna be a fun week!
 
Nothing like British high class style and performance.

Now what colour should I get it in? Should I accent it with some wheels?

That's my worry(or maybe joy)... STOCK power levels and it's pure fun and slides a bit... With full power I think it's going to be a bit more wild. But maybe we'll have some sliding fun!? We shall see... Can't wait to get back from work today!
 
Last shot was taken with all mods but NA on, it does get pretty vicious, especially on the S-bends etc...

Hmmm ?? ... I just added all parts like the rules say and my car has 630hp with oil change? maybe a difference with PAL /NTSC? ... I dunno :dunce:

i agree with you...we should have NOS from time to time...it would male for some interesting competions....one more setup to play with

and...we could always pick a car wich NOS would make sense on....
 
I love this track in a rear drive car.
Hmmm... that should make up for my crapness in tuning :D

Great, just great... :indiff:

Hopefully this car will handle better than last week's block of concrete with no wheels, else I might just have to wait for Week 27 and the F1 👍
