The poll posted a few weeks ago about the use of NOS in the WRS showed that :
Setting up a NOS race starts with the exclusion of all incompatible options :
So the NOS race will be run in some GT Mode / Event. At that point, I started to consider using a tuning car opposed to race cars, where using NOS could make up for the lower torque and greater weight.
NOS would then be the only way to keep up with AI cars and eventually win the race.
But if we have to struggle against AI cars for more than 2 laps, we definitely need a track with long and wide straights. For this reason plus the fact that it hasn't been used in the WRS yet, Seoul was my first and only pick.
Having restricted enough the combo, I started to look first for an Event that would provide race cars on Seoul, then for a tuning car that would be able to (almost) win this Event in the given configuration :
Week 36 : Nismo 400R '96 @ Seoul Central
Game mode :
GT Mode / Extreme Events / Dream Car Championship / Seoul Central (7 laps)
Car specifications :
Nismo 400R '96 fully modified with no restrictions :
(car is awarded when winning the 90's Challenge in Japanese Events)
Race rules :
Standard clean OLR rules :
Thread rules :

- on the one hand, since NOS is part of the game (it's even a new feature that never existed in any previous release) it would be a pity not to give it a try ;
- on the other hand, NOS introduces too much strategy where driving skill only should be involved.
Setting up a NOS race starts with the exclusion of all incompatible options :
- NOS is not available in Arcade Mode, thus no Single Race and no Time Trial ;
- NOS has a limited duration, thus no GT Mode / Free Run, or else we would have to quit and restart a new session every 2 or 3 laps to refill the NOS tank ;
- GT Mode / Family Cup ;
- GT Mode / Event ;
