I can't believe how close the times are  No need to say that with 11 drivers in the same second, Gold or Bronze doesn't mean anything this week in div 1. Big congrats to everybody, including the new racers who are (almost) all less than 2.5 secs behind the leaders. And special congrats to zdenko who gets a div 1 podium on his first week with us.

Well done to the Podium placers and Division winners  👍

I just couldnt nail the middle sector on this track at all. Respect to those that did!

see one thing i noticed, is with the seperations of the divisions

we fail to see how close Kyle came to beating Dan

if results were to be combined, and maybe have the divisions in a bracket beside their names

would be the dream solution i think

Then how about keeping the current system and then, below the results, put another list with the drivers sorted by time? That should be easy enough to accomplish, if you are doing this in a spreadsheet.

Anyway, didn't race this week - so I am not going to vote.

But I have to say this: d:eek:mn, those times are close! 👍

The Wizard.

Unless each name was colour coded based on divisions

You could combine the names and have Blue names as division 1, Orange as division 2 and Green as D3?

This would mean the gold/silver/bronze system is out.

Maybe an idea?

Argh...

0.05 away from an all Aussie D1 podium. Always next time I guess.

Great job everyone who got around this track in one piece, it was a pretty difficult one! Personally, although I'm happy with 5th overall it would have been nice to top 3.

I might post my replay when I return from school. (At the moment I'm pretending to study up on chemistry...)

Good race for this rookie, gives me motivation to get better! Thought I'd break in my Max Drive and post my ghost lap...

Are you kidding me... Holy cow... No freaking way. I had NO idea. No wonder I had so much trouble trying to get ahead of my ghost!!!

Thanks for the words guys! I'll get my replay up either tonight or tomorrow night...

And, FWIW, my faster time was one thousandth behind Dan's final time... And that was with me hitting a wall and losing time because of it...!? WOAH!!

No... It can't be, my T2 was like .8 seconds behind Holl and the other fast guy's times! I guess we'll see what's up when I post the replay... Amazing... Maybe I just somehow managed to find a line somewhere that no one else did? I knew I liked the track, even if I hadn't really played it too much in GT4 yet, but I never really took that big of a liking to the car, so I thought... Maybe I liked it more than I thought I did.

Wow KLR142 that's some final sector that you had yourself!
Congrats on a smokin' time! (And to all the other podium placers too. 👍 )
Just couldn't seem to sneak under the 55s mark myself, despite several hundred attempts!:grumpy:

Have to say despite everyone's grumbles, I liked this combo, not overly fond of the car or the track, but they worked together well, it would have been a bugger to do a longer course, like Tokyo or GVS in this car, and it would be a waste to race something really quick on this track. So it gets my "Fabulous" vote. 👍

Here's my replay....

Are you sure that's not a typo....Nothing personal, but I was chasing hol's ghost all week, and I see no way that someone could do it .1 faster then his, nevermind .8

 Congrats

Amazing times  ....
I'm too new here to have a say about the times/div whole thing really.... still sitting here shaking my head.... fast 👍  👍

As Cyril (flat-out) said to me multiple times, everybody has a saying in the WRS - as long as they are part of it.

Don't feel like your opinion doesn't count, just because you are new. Everybody is entitled to have one. And so are you 👍

This is a place where you won't get flamed "just because". I can promise you that.

I'm afraid i have to agree

maybe you meant 55 not 54 as your final time?

Though i will gladly eat humble pie and apologise if my allagations were wrong

Man. some super clos finishes at the top of the leaderboard:tup:

nice performance by zdenko on ur first race:tup: and to minor shunt for rounding out the podium.

KLR, well if ur T2 is some .8 secs away from my T2 time, then unless ur car magically transformed into a mercedes benz touring car on the last sector, then u have made a typo:tup:

I lost the file off my computer and i need to re-upload it:yuck:

Cool race! Nice to see everyone so close. 👍 Short tracks make for exciting racing. I wonder if this is the closest top to bottom the results have ever been?

A hesitant big WOW!! @KLR. Damn dude. Are you sure? :odd: If you are saying that your splits from the leaderboard are your final splits, then something ain't right I'm afraid......not even with full HP. No biggie. There will be plenty of eyes on your replay this week. I hope you make us all eat crow.

My whole motivation at the end of the week was to prevent Casio's Aussie sweep. I got lucky is all. .05 is nuthin! I really figured someone would pull a clean 54.2. So top 10 is great, and top 5 is a wonderful result in this fast company.

Awesome first showing zdenko. 👍 Welcome to WRS! :)
Another win holl01. Congrats! But a lot of racers right on ya this week.

Damn right crazy what close times we had this week. I gotta thank my monkeys for getting me a last minute position on shockwave as I was a couple tenths back until nearly midnight last night.

Good job Minor for quashing the down-under revolution! Big ups to the Portland Pounder should should his time stand for evening up the PAL/NTSC split for the top 4!

Casio, great showing man! Movin' on up in this world bro! You'll get your podium soon enough (in D1 that is...).

Here's my replay for anyone who cares...

BTW, just voted Faboo (4)! Even I'll admit that there's a time and a place for Arcade races. Fun, balanced car on a short track where driving makes more difference than tuning.

Great combo Cyril.

Well, that's not what I was talking about with the .1 and .8 stuff... I was talking about my T2 time being .8 behind his T2 time, and also about my fastest dirty lap being .001 behind his winning lap...

But, all the excitement has been for naught(I think I'm using that correctly...?), because, for some reason, I wrote down a 54.344 on my little sticky note I use for keeping track of my T times, and so that's the number I sent to Cyril... Yet, sure enough, I'm actually a full second behind that...

SO! My REAL final time, was a 55.344... Hopefully no one gets mad at me for my accident... :dunce: Makes much more sense though! So yeah, that's that. Much better. I'll put in this :dunce: cap again... :ouch:

I knew I didn't spend THAT much time on it this week... Oye. My apologies! I knew I wasn't up to Casio quality yet... I guess that ghost chasing is what's making you improve so much, eh Casio?

Nope, it wasn't meant to be... Now, if we were in a mid-engine car, at a few select tracks, I think I might be able to put up a fight, ALMOST as high as I supposedly did today, but yeah. Oh well, no matter! My bad!

Sort of happy with my result, I wanted a 54 but never really got close enough.

I'm flattered that I have my own 'quality' now

It's all good mate, just a simple typo, these things happen. I often think most of hol01's must be typos too!

curse you swine!!! :sly:

i will have my vengeance soon... anywayz good racing this week, i reckon i could have cracked a 54.3 if i hadn't of ballsed my exit out of the tunnel...

ah well on to WRS#47

Not bad for my first competitive week I suppose. :)

12th overall, and second in Division 2! (After the scores are rectified from our little 'typo' incident.)

Really close times! Well done to everyone, and to Smallhorses who managed to pip me by just under a tenth... 👍

So, does this Gold/Silver/Bronze thing apply overall, or to each division? Did I get silver, or nothing?

G/S/B apply in each division : the color of your name shows what you got. Silver in your case (div 2 silver to be accurate).

I say didn't like it, but that didn't stop me from running about fifty mind-numbing utterly frustrating, pushing-plowing-oversteeering-sliding-no-braking laps in that dreadful little car!!!!

other than that, it was fun:)

thanks

Cyril you would have to edit the results now that KLR confirms his time was indeed a typo?

BTW KLR no respect lost from me mate, I knew it was an accident and never done on purpose to cheat. Just a typo 👍
