I think they're playing the PS2 through their computer somehow or something, and then are recording the screenplay? Maybe. Something like that. :lol:

I do have one question, though -- how are y'all making videos like that? I mean, it's obvious you're uploading them to You-Tube and then posting a link in your message, I get that much. But how are you transferring the vid from the PS2 to the PC? That's the part I can't seem to do -- nothing on the PC will read the replay file (at least nothing I can find), so I'm mystified as to how you're creating these videos... Any hints?

They use a recording-device - probably a Capturecard, which enables them to record whatever content is playing on their TV right now - gameplay, videos, TV. So, they just connect the whole thingy, play the replay (in GT4), and meanwhile, record it. Then, saving & YouTube'ing.

Oh, ok... I guess I was thinking it was something that every PS2 could do with a certain mod -- but it's the PC that must be modified (with the addition of a CaptureCard or whatever) in order to make it work... Ok... So I guess I either need to buy a CaptureCard or just use my web-cam, eh? :sly:

Or, if you're lucky and have those ATI All-In-Wonder cards, the Capturecard is already in there 👍

Mr P: great video and very nice lap. Fully 10" faster than I could manage. my 1'32.xxx didn't even make the DivIII Board.

As for this week, I've two days to work it out. To much on my plate this week.

I have my pc right next to my tv and ps2, so all i do is use my web cam to record a lap while its playing on the tv. Easy bud and very cheap 👍
 
And mine, sorry it took so long again :guilty: I hope this is right because it's the first time I've ever used the maxdrive all by myself :dopey:

Quite the opposite, I'll check it out tomorrow morning. That is, if I'll even bother to move my lazy out of my bed, while not going to school. Might even drag myself to the beach... Strikes are wonderful.

You seem to be down on power in the replay, but watching Ron's replay I spot the same hp. So it must be the same case for all 💡
 
A bit late (hadn't turned on the PS2 since last Monday), but I had to kick myself for not putting more (sober) time in last week. I had all the pieces for an upper-silver/lower-gold run, but by the time I figured it out, I was feeling the effects of attending a pair of birthday parties.

In any case, for your unofficial approval,....
