I have a problem.... Has anyone drifted with the GT4O? I am really into the GT, and I want to learn how to drft with it. I tried some Drift Settings fro the Depot, but they just don't work with me! Am I doing something wrong? Basically, I can't enter a corner good. I throttle control Drift, and I don't have a vid cam to show you guys, but just try to understand how I drift with throttle control. Drifting is kind of hard for me, ya know? :indiff: But, I'll keeeeep on practicing. :sly:

Thanks!

is the car understeering or are you spinning out 2 much?

Since the GT40 is an FR layout, its only normal for it to oversteer in given drift settings. All you need is a lot of practice w/ counter-steer and throttle control.

I'm spining out way to much. Thing is, I never have had under steer.

[EDIT] WHOOPS!!! sorry about that, ignore this post

rock. :O

Hmm.. I thought the GT40 was MR?

Yeah, Its MR.. I wonder if the Boat load of torque this car has , makes drifting it a tad bit harder?

titanic load is more like it.... and the fact that it is an old car made for the le mans...

hmmmmmm.....try setting ur toe angles, and tcs settings

try having TCS @ 1 and try to get stock HP, hopfully u have this now, try diff tire combos, such as sport up front and sims out back or sports all around, usually sports go well with the higher powered cars, but thats jsut a personal pref, jsut remember throttle control is key, break if u have to and make sure ur not givin gas all the way through

Whatever You do don't mix tires. It creates a unbalanced car.. If you can't even drift with it now.. Why would you want to drift with the car even more unbalanced?

Theres a video I saw with a bunch of GT40 drifting. Its awesome.
