Greetings to all Has anyone noticed that cars with all aids off and road tyres dont oversteer or understeer at all? Will these be the final settings in gT4s game engine? Not realistic no fun for a real driving simulator GT3 has in my opinion overmoddeled understeer and accurate oversteer By the way GT4P has (with road tyres) accurate braking distances Anyone sharing this opinion or is just me? THANKS

Can't say I've noticed that TBH, but then I haven't driven GTP with the aids off yet. Think of GTP as being GT3.5. GT4 will be different to GTP, as PD have been working on GT4 for an extra year, so things will doubtlessely change.

Cheers

Jamie

P.S. You might want to move this thread into the GTP section here.

I've driven 181 combos in the game, almost all on road tires, and I don't know what you're talking about. Cars like the R34 Nur or the Evo VIII MR surely do have understeer and oversteer??

Which version do you use? If you use an Asian version, are you sure you've put the assists on and not off? The triangle on the hud should NOT be flashing. And road tires are the tires all the way to the left, not the right.

Thanks for replies Sure i have correct settings and PAL edition Do you believe that a 400+ HP mercedes with 2d gear and say 50 KM\H speed in a corner with tons of torque behaves like this in game? I believe not but mayby is my fault Cheers

Can anyone tell me the difference between "normal" and "road"?

Seems to me that there is one to many choices..

reading from left to right, logic says that you have
ROAD SPORTS RACING... in that order ie.. increasing level grip!!

So with that in mind, what is normal and is it better than sports??

Any clues??

thanx

put on normal tires on a sl55amg, with all aids off, and you
get hardly no wheelspin.

put on roadtires, and see the tires smoke from the starts =)
i think that is a pretty big difference just there =)

...sooooo... is normal better than sports... which logic says should be as u move up the scale... ie.. is normal just one less than racing???

Normal is default Road is supposed to be just as in real life But it isnt in GT4P Sports is ridiculous easy In my opinion GT4P is GTC with more friedly handling But this is not a real simulator As you step on grass you get the real feeling how a strong FR car handlles CHEERS

Hmmm. I use normal tyres a lot and it makes little difference to slow cars but faster cars have much reduced handling I think. Let's face it 'normal' or 'racing' are best, surely?
